b) Ribs are NOT PROMINENT
c) Occurs in children older than 18
months to 2 y/o
d) Thin muscles & small MUAC
e) EDEMATOUS “Moon face” appearance
f) Increased risk of infection
g) No or lack of appetite (anorexia)
h) Sluggish, apathetic, lethargic,
unresponsive
