My Heavenly Father, as I enter this work place, I bring your presence with me. I speak Your peace, Your grace, Your mercy, and Your perfect order into this office. I acknowledge Your power over all that will be spoken, thought, decided, and done within these walls. Lord, I thank You for the gifts you have blessed me with. I commit to using them responsibly in Your honour. Give me a fresh supply of strength to do my job. Anoint my projects, ideas, and energy, so that even my smallest accomplishment may bring You glory.

Lord, when I am confused, guide me. When I am weary, energize me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the light of the Holy Spirit. May the work that I do and the way I do it bring faith, joy, and a smile to all that I come in contact with today. And oh Lord, when I leave this place, give me traveling mercy. Bless my family and home to be in order as I left it. Lord, I thank you for everything You've done, everything You're doing, and everything You're going to do. Lord, as I start the day, let me remember how blessed and lucky I am to be in my job. Remind me to be grateful for the work that I do, the people I meet and the wage I receive. Keep me cooperative with both my employer and co-workers. If I have to complain, make me think first of the common good and later of my own welfare. Help me to be honest in my dealings and to be responsible in doing tasks assigned to me. Make me aware that in my work I bring your work to completion.Amen.

Lord, as we now end our day s work, we pray and thank you for this very wonderful day. Thank you for having given us the patience and industry to work well, and for having directed our thoughts, words, and actions. Forgive us Lord, for our misgiving as we forgive those who wronged us. Continue to give us wisdom to do good for others and for ourselves. Lord, please continue to bless us, also our families tonight, and bring us together again tomorrow as we start another day. Heavenly Father, we come to you today asking for your guidance, wisdom, and support as we begin this meeting. Loving and Gracious God, you are indeed the giver of all good gifts and we come together this day to seek your wisdom, guidance, courage and strength. Be with us in our deliberations and help us to be wise in the decisions we make for the good of all those who have placed their trust and confidence in our leadership. Give us insight to lead with integrity that our decisions may reflect what is right and good. Keep us from shortsightedness and pettiness.
