22 Dear Mom,
. On my trip to Bali, I was lucky enough to experience some of the most beautiful
locations and resorts the island has to offer, beginning in Nusa Dua, then to
Seminyak, Sanur and Uluwatu. When I wasn’t shooting I was swimming in crystal blue
waters and infinity pools, shopping in the adorable boutiques, relaxing at the cool
cafes and dining at world class restaurants.
The thing I love most about Bali is that it offers something for everyone, amazing
wave breaks, unique shopping, some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and
for the foodie, fantastic restaurants.
 I feel as though Bali is also a reminder of how important kindness and generosity
are: the locals are so lovely and cheerful that it would be hard to have a bad day,
someone was always putting a smile on my face.

. I am sorry I haven’t been able to come to your house. Last week, I suddenly became
really sick, so my father rushed me to the emergency room at the nearest hospital.
We didn't feel that we needed to call an ambulance because we lived so close to the
hospital. It turned out that I had appendicitis. A nurse took my vital signs (blood
pressure, temperature, and pulse) while my dad filled out all the necessary
paperwork. Soon thereafter, I was prepared for emergency surgery.
I promise you, when I feel better I will go to your place.

. Last week was a terrible week for me. I had an accident while skin diving on my first
day in Bunaken. I stepped on a sharp coral and sprained my feet! The rest of my
holiday was spent watching with envy all of my friends diving and snorkeling. I had to
rest with a bandaged ankle while everybody else were having fun. That’s why I could
 only send you the picture of... the GOOD FOOD! I surely had a lot of Bunaken’s food.
I hope your vacation in Batu isn’t as bad as mine.
