THE CROW AND THE PITCHER


One day, there is a thirsty crow who wanted some
water to drink. He looked for a well but couldn’t
find any. Then, he saw a pitcher beside the road.
There was a little amount of water at the bottom
of the pitcher. He tried to drink from it but could
not reach the water. He sat down to think about
how he can drink the water. Then, he saw some
small stones by the road. He smiled and said to
himself,” I know what to do”. One by one, he got
the stones and dropped them into the pitcher. The
water in the pitcher rose a little higher every time
he dropped a stone. Soon, the water reached the
top of the pitcher. The crow drank the water
happily.

The Lion and the Mouse
There was a lion sleeping in the forest. A little mouse running up and
down the lion awakened him. The lion was about to eat the mouse when the
little mouse cried, “Forgive me this time. Someday I may be able to help
you”. The lion laughed at the idea of the mouse helping him but he set him
free. A week later, a group of hunters sets a trap in the forest. The lion was
caught in a trap. The hunters tied him to a tree and left to look for a cart to
