Inspiration Gallery 1, 2, 3 Art is but an expression of an artist responding to the world around
him/her through his/her medium. What we read, we think, we hear,
we see, we talk, all become a seed of inspiration that we express
and communicate in our own unique manner. Galleries 1,2,3 invite
visitors to look at some very important artists of our times sitting
together and expressing different facets of the world that inspire
them. They in turn have been inspiration to a whole generation of
fellow artists as well as young art students. An inspirer was once
inspired and perhaps at times this is a simultaneous process.
Politics, Media, Marginalisation, Violence, Nature & Environment
all are inspirations for works shared by luminaries like M F Husain,
Akbar Padamsee, Prabhakar Barwe along with Atul Dodiya, Jitish
Kallat, Bose Krishnamachari, as well as Manu Parekh, Navjot Altaf
and many more.
