1. Ifa says that the owner of this Odu-Ifa needs to offer ebo in order to avert a
situation of wants in her life. If this has been her lot, Ifa says that she would
no longer experience want again. On this, she needs to offer ebo with 200
snails, 4 guinea fowls, 4 pigeons. There is also the need for person to feed
Orisa-nla (Obatala). Ifa says that Orisla-nla will do her a big favour that will
make her successful in life.
Ifa says that the owner of this Odu-Ifa should also procure 200 guinea fowls
eggs or ordinary eggs if guinea fowls are not available). These eggs will be
boiled use one third to feed Ifa; one third to feed Orisa-nla and the remaining
one third to feed the Iyamis. After doing this, all what she lacks in life will be
provided by these 3 deities.
Ifa also advises a pregnant woman to offer ebo and be prayerful because of the
day of delivery. She needs to offer ebo with 2 hens, 6 alligator pepper and
money. She also needs to propitiate Osanyin with2 hens. All these become
necessary so that she can have easy and safe delivery. On these, Ifa says

This was the message of Ifa to Oosanla Oseeremagbo
When he was afflicted with ailments and was praying for recovery
The same message was declared to Nini (The )
And to Aini (The-have-not)
When they were going to search for sanil for Orisanla
Aini was the one who offered ebo
The same message of was also revealed for Osanyin
The whose wife was pregnant
He was advised to offer ebo

2. Ifa says that it foresees victory over death for a child who happens to be the
first born of his/her parent. Ifa says that the owner of this Odu-Ifa will never
lose a child but she needs to offer ebo in order to avert such a situation. The
ebo materials include 1 matured he-goat, 3 bottles of palm-oil, 20 kolanuts, 20
bitter kola and money.

3. Ifa foresees the ire of accomplishment for two people. They may be husband
and wife, siblings or friends. Ifa advises them to always be contented with and
appreciate whatever favour done to them. They should also keep whatever
taboos directives given to them. If all these are done, then Ifa assures them. If
all these are done, then Ifa assures them of accomplishment. However, there is
the need to offer ebo each with 3 guinea fowls, 3 pigeons and money. They
should also procure each 8 guinea fowls eggs and a pot. These eggs will be
put in the pot and buried in the ground for 16 days. Thereafter, success and
accomplishment shall be their. On this, Ifa says

Idin that uses cage to pack guinea fowls eggs
What the eyes seek is what it sees
This was the message of Ifa to Baayanni
And also revealed to Ogun
When they were hunting without success
Baayanni was the one who complied and also kept to Ifa’s
injunctions.
Ifa reiterates further on the need to take the issue of taboo seriously. The
person for whom this Odu is revealed should always keep the taboo in order to
avert recurring death syndrome in her family or the society she belongs to. What
Ifa is saying here is that, this person should never at anytime have sexual
intercourse with any member of her family or relations whatsoever. This is a
strong taboo in Ifa and which has grave consequences. However, she needs to
offer ebo with 1 matured he-goat, 1 rams, 1 she-goat and money. On these, Ifa
says:

This was the message of Ifa to he-whose-father-died
And decided to engage in levirate marriage with his mother
When the day of reckoning is rife
It shall be by the river
All adherents of Ope (Ifa)
Whoever that was advised to offer ebo
He/she should comply
4. Ifa says that it foresees all ire in life for the person for whom this Odu is
revealed. Ifa says that she shall assure an exalted position among her peers
and colleagues. This person according to Ifa will be such that will become a
decision maker and an indispensable person in the society. Therefore, she well
be given a lot of honour and prestige. However, she needs to offer ebo with
pigeon, duck, guinea fowl, plenty sticks and money. On this, Idin Atago says:

5. Ifa says that the person for whom this Odu is revealed should be contended
with whatever Oldumare has blessed her. Under no circumstances should she
be avaricious or take more that her portion of what was allotted to her. This is
to avoid any sad or unhealthy consequences that may arise as a result of her
avarice. Ifa says that the person for whom this Odu is revealed was a man in
her previous existence but has now come back to existence a woman as a
result of avarice, which she committed in he previous existence. Therefore, Ifa
advises her to desist from this act in order to avoid grave consequence. She
however neds to feed Orisa-Nla with 2 guinea fowls eggs. On this, Ifa says

6. Ifa foresees the ire of childbearing for the person for whom this Odu is
revealed. She however needs to offer ebo with rat, fish, hen and money and
propitiate Oosa-nla. She should also be drinking the fresh water of Oosanla.
With all these, she shall be blessed with the fruit of the womb. On this, Ifa
says:
Afefe nii gbari oko resuresu

Tii se eru Oosa Gbowuji
Nijo ti n sunkun oun o bimo
Ebo ni won ni ko se
O gbebo, o rubo
Atunwa mu Awe-Oosa
O si wa dolomo
Translation
It is the wind that blows the farm gently
This was the declaration of Ifa to Atunwa
She who was the servant of Oosa Gbowuyi
When she was lamenting her inability to have children
She was advised to offer ebo
She complied
Atunwa has drunk the fresh water of Oosa
And she became a proud mother
7. Ifa says that it foresees success and accomplishment for the owner of this
Odu-Ifa. Ifa says that if this person is experiencing any set back presently that
she should offer ebo with a liquor. She should use it to serve her Ifa very well
and also use it to server Oosanla. After this, she will become successful and
regain what she might have lost as a resul of the set back. On this Ifa says.

8. Ifa says that the person for whom this Odu revealed should be very careful
when it comes to the issue of male and female relationship. She should never
allow herself to be used as a tool means to kill any man she is having a
relationship with. She however needs to offer ebo with a matured he-goat,
palm-oil and money. The head of the he-goat would be placed on Esu. The he-
goat should also be used to serve Ifa. On this, Ifa says:

9. Ifa foresees that the owner of this Odu-Ifa will have the opportunity to travel
overseas and she will become successful there. Ifa says that she will become
successful both home and outside the shores of your stat country. In this case,
there is the need for her to offer ebo and propitiate her head both at home and
even when she travels abroad. On this Idi-Atago read thus

10. Ifa says it foresees ire of victory over adversaries for the owner of this Odu-
Ifa. Ifa says that there are some enemies who may be trying to wreck havoc on
you. Ifa advises you to be fearless about anybody or any obstacles that ma
want to bring you down. Your only fear is Ifa and which has promised you to
help deal with your enemies. Ifa says that if you are experiencing difficulty
situation presently, that you should not despair, things will surely be better
again. Ifa says tat you should offer ebo with 3 rooster, 3 pigeons, 3 guinea
fowls and money. On this, Odi-Otura reads thus:

Ti alawo o ni
Dia fun Akapo

Baba nbe laarin ota
Ebo ni won ni ko waa se
O gbebo, o rubo

Translation
What is the calabash dealer selling
That the plate dealer is not selling?
This was the message of Ifa to Orunmila
When he was in the midst of want
And also in the midst of constant attack from enemies
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
Behold! It is only Edu (Ifa) that I fear
I do not fear anybody
11. Ifa advises you not to assist anybody in carrying any luggage or help pass a
parcel or luggage from one person to the other. This is to avoid unnecessary
implication that may arise from such assistance. The implication is such that
may bring untold problems to you. Ifa says that to avoid this, you need to
offer ebo with 1 matured he-goat or rooster. On this, Ifa says:
Eni to rin jinna nii ruku aroni noja
Dia fun Baba Olokete pooki (Esu Odara)
Ebo ni won ni ko se
O gbebo, o rubo
Translation
He who had traveled far is the one who carries the corpse of Aroni
This was the Ifa cast for Baba Olokete pooki
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
In the above Odu, there was a man whose work is to carry loads/luggage for
people after which he will be paid. Someday, he collected a luggage from Esu
but unknowingly to him there was a corpse of one man called Aroni in the
luggage. After collecting, the luggage from Esu, Esu disappeared into thin air.
People accosted him and wanted to know the contents of the luggage4, when
it was opened, they found a dead body inside it. When asked how he came
about the dead body, he claimed ignorance that he couldn’t find the owner of
the luggage anymore. He was then taken to the Oba’s palace to give account
of how he came about the corpse. At this juncture, he remembered that he had
been previously warned by the babalawo never to engage in the services of
carrying or transferring of people’s luggage from on person to another.
12. Ifa says that the person for whom this Odu is revealed should always do
