Task 2: RFP&Ads
Overview
This will be a sort of “baptism of fire” for you. As we continue to learn about Marketing,
we will utilize our respective agencies and positions to create a proposal which will eventually
become a video advertisement for our teammate’s business. Creating proposals and doing
them are vital aspects of the life of a Marketing professional,

The following will be the basic information about this project:

Part A. Request for Proposal (RFP)


1. The group must choose a business entity readily available in their group.
2. Conduct an interview with the business owner covering basic information about
their business:
a. Name
b. Logo
c. History
d. Market / Clients
e. Products
f. Price Range
g. Ad Requirements
h. Budget
i. Competitors
j. 4Ps, SWOT, PESTLE
k. Any other details deemed necessary.
3. The information gathered above will be utilized by the team in creating their
proposal. The proposal will contain:
a. Cover Letter
b. Introduction of the Agency, Team
c. Proposed Advertisement
i. Storyline
ii. Timeframe
iii. Locations
iv. In-Charge
v. Budget Allocation
vi. Target Market to Reach
vii. Media to be Used
d. Contract / Agreement
4. The Proposal must be in pdf format and must be submitted on or before 24
September 2022.

Part B. 30-second Advertisement


1. The team may proceed in creating their advertisement (minus the budget, of
course) in any given format.
2. The team must create:
a. Facebook Page of their Agency; and
b. YouTube Page of their agency, and the output will be posted there.
3. The video will also be posted by the respective business owner in their own
page/website, if applicable and allowed.
4. The deadline will be on October 8, 2022.

Note:

This is a simple guide / outline. The more detailed you can be, the better.
Make an output not just for submission but something that you will be proud of.
