As I watched the video, I realized that if your pregnancy is high-risk, you or your

unborn child may be more vulnerable to health problems before, during, or after birth.
During pregnancy, special supervision or care is usually necessary. Recognize the risk
factors for a high-risk pregnancy and take the necessary precautions to safeguard
yourself and your unborn child. When a pregnancy is labeled "high-risk," one or more
variables enhance the chances that the mother or unborn child may have health
problems or give birth prematurely. A woman's pregnancy might be considered high risk
if she is 17 years old or younger. At least 35 years old. Before becoming pregnant, you
may have weighed too little or too much. So, how do we avoid having high-risk
pregnancies? Each pregnancy is different. Issues such as gestational diabetes or
preeclampsia can occur in the middle of a low-risk pregnancy, demanding particular
medical care for both the mother and the unborn child. In some cases, women may
begin their pregnancies at high risk. We may avoid this by keeping or obtaining a
healthy weight before pregnancy, taking parental supplements, avoiding tobacco,
alcohol, or drugs, and being aware of the risks associated with older maternal age,
among other things. Drinking alcohol, smoking or using tobacco products, and doing
drugs while pregnant can all have major consequences for your unborn child's health. If
you consume alcohol while pregnant, you increase your risk of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum
Disorder, which causes catastrophic birth complications. Cigarette smoking can cause
low birth weight in newborns. It is possible for newborns to be hooked to a substance
taken during pregnancy, and taking illicit substances or abusing prescription
prescriptions might result in birth defects. Take only the drugs advised by your doctor
while pregnant. While pregnant, your body requires more of certain nutrients to promote
the development of the fetus. Prenatal vitamins and supplements can provide you with
folic acid, iron, protein, and calcium that you would not typically get from your diet. If you
want to get pregnant, you should start taking a prenatal vitamin before conception. If
you are nursing, it may be good to continue taking prenatal vitamins after your baby is
born.

I learnt several new things from the video, including some essential knowledge I had
never heard before. It was conveyed clearly and concisely. This type of information is
critical, and it will help me in my career as a nurse. Learning and accumulating a large
amount of information might be difficult for pupils, but their efforts will be rewarded in the
long term. Knowledge and skill are critical in high-risk pregnancies. It is also critical to
improve health throughout the whole process of conception, childbirth, and postpartum
care. This includes giving women access to sexual and reproductive health care,
diagnosing and preventing illnesses, ensuring proper nutrition, and aiding women who
may be victims of intimate partner abuse. Knowledge management is critical for future
nurses, increased business processes, and communication in order to boost
organizational agility, make better and quicker choices, solve problems promptly,
support staff growth and development, and share specialized skills.
