    In-Service Training for Teachers

    S.Y. 2021-2022

    Me: A very light morning everyone, today marks the last day of the first month of the new year that’s
    ahead of us, and what better way to conclude this month than to commence with fresh learning and insights
    for all? As professional teachers, it is our obligation to immerse ourselves to not only a single learning path
    but to be prepped with a handful of skills and ideologies to become ready to empower the young minds.

    As what one of my favorite authors and television personality--Oprah Winfrey has said, “I think
    education is power. I think that being able to communicate with people is power. One of my main goals on
    the planet is to encourage people to empower themselves.” And I hope these words will leave an impact for
    us all to continue to do what we do best with the utmost caliber to uphold the mission, vision, goals and
    objectives that are set before us.

    Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to host this school year’s five-day long In-Service
    Training for Teachers! And without more ado, may I invite everyone to rise for the singing of the Philippine
    National Anthem, to be followed by a prayer and the singing of the SDO hymn to be accompanied by an
    audio-visual presentation.

    Me: [You may now be seated,] and now we will listen to our very own and dynamic school principal,
    Madam Rosa Myra T. Franco, to formally open and welcome us to this year’s INSET. A round of applause!

    Me: Thank you so much ma’am for extending your warm welcome to each of us here.

    And now, to acquaint us with the different participants and the training team, let us have Sir Ian
    Christopher J. Cos, Master Teacher I from the TLE Department.

    To give us the orientation and norm setting, let us listen to the Head Teacher III of the Filipino
    Department, Madam Vivian A. Rivera.

    Teacher III of the English Department.
