Now, let’s have a quick review on our lesson last meeting.

The class will be divided into three (3) groups. The boat is sinking will be played
in order to create three (3) teams.
The Treasure Game
Materials: Paper, pictures, strings
Procedure:
1. Each member of the team will look around the corner of the classroom. There
will be rolled papers hidden. The rolled paper shows a picture inside about
good and bad health habits.
2. Each team must collect 10 papers.
3. After gathering, together with their groupmates, pupils will classify whether
the paper they have collected belongs to good or bad health habits.
4. Each team must choose 2 persons from the group to present their work in the
class.
3. Explore
The teacher will show to the pupils a video clip about the difference of people
who have a good health habits and those people who doesn’t practice healthy
habits.

4. Explain
The teacher will ask questions from the video clip.
Based on the video clip,
What kind of person do you want to emulate? One practicing good
habits or the one who don’t? Why?

Ask the pupils:
Do you have good health habits?
To maintain good health, you must have good health habits. Here are some more
good health and eating habits to follow:
1) Eat at regular meal time.
2) Eat green and yellow vegetables and fruits.
3) Drink plenty of water and fruit juices.
4) Wash hands before eating.
5) Wash your hands after using the toilet.
6) Cut your nails regularly.
7) Keep your fingernails and toenails free of dirt.
8) Brush your teeth at least three times a day.
To protect your body from illness and ailment, follow these:
1) Avoid exposure to the sun without skin protection.
2) Protect your ears from excessive noise.
3) Establish a regular sleep pattern.
4) Do regular exercise.
5) Visit your dentist every six months.
6) Have your eyes checked regularly by an eye doctor.
7) Have the necessary vaccinations. Pay attention to your body’s signals.
Body pain is a way of letting you know that something is wrong with your
body.

Activity 1:
Direction: List ten(10) desirable health and food habits you should
do to remain healthy and strong.
Activity 2: Poster Making (by pair)
Direction: In a short size bond paper, illustrate the effects of having a good health
and food habits.
