A “1” before a person’s name in the appointment list indicates the appointment is part time. A “#” before a
person’s name indicates that person is also appointed in another location. The number on the right hand side
of the appointment list indicates the number of years the person has held this appointment.
A “^” before a person’s name indicates that this is the Local Church Appointment for a Deacon in Full Connec-
tion whose primary appointment is to an extension ministry.

Clergy members are listed in the directory alphabetically with the name of the spouse in italics. The appoint-
ment listed is the official appointment. Some members who are retired or attending school may also be serving
parishes.
Church or office addresses are listed first, followed by the parsonage or home address. The asterisk indicates
preferred mailing address. The “parsonage” designation indicates a church-owned residence. E-mail addresses
are listed as they have been provided. Please note that these do frequently change as people change their
Internet service providers. Clergy are encouraged to obtain a “wisconsinumc.org” Email address from the
Communications Office at the Conference Center in Sun Prairie.
There are two abbreviations on the right hand margin. The first indicates “Conference Relationship.” The
abbreviations used are the same as those used by the General Council on Finance and Administration. The
second abbreviation indicates appointment category.
