5 We offers goods and services of satisfactory quality as defined in the Sales of Goods Act S14 (2),
Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and Lemon Law.
6 We reserve the right to put on hold or cease work if client fail to comply with the Payment Terms.
7 Please request for Matt & Design Studio Pte Ltd official receipt as proof of payment.
8 We will ensure accuracy in billings. Any additional items requested in the course of the works are
chargeable and will be recorded on Variation Addendum for reckoning upon works completion.
9 Payment of Variation Order shall be collected in full at 3rd Payment.
10 No variation of the Works described shall invalidate this Agreement, but any such variation, whether by
addition, omission or substitution, together with the cost and effect on the Date for commencement
and completion of the Works, shall be agreed in writing between the Employer/Owner and the Contractor
before the variation is carried out, and the contract sum, date for commencement and/or completion of works
shall be altered accordingly via a Variation Order.
11 All prices and discounts are to be clearly indicated in the contract.
12 Matt & Design Studio Pte Ltd is a GST registered company. Price quoted are subjected to the prevailing rate of GST

 13 We require a downpayment of 10% of Contract Sum or S$1,000 whichever is greater, at the time client
signed and confirmed the contract.
14 We provide clear information on the services offered, the price, and the schedule of works (timetable)
to the customers in the quotation and work schedule.
There will be a planning Works Schedule agreed with client and upon completion, a joint inspection will be
made to confirm any rectification works as may be required before the client takes over the premises.
15 The materials provided and works done by the third party which are not indicated in the contract are
excluded from the Company's liability .
16 All accessories not indicated in quotation/contract will be charged separately as variation upon confirmation
of 3D drawings unless otherwise stated eg.Glass, mirrors, stainless steel strips & baskets etc....
17 Only F.O.C. items stated in the contract signed will not be chargeable. All misc.orders authorised/verbally
agreed by owners will be justified as an agreement & subject to charges.
18 Any additional item or variation will be issue with a separate contract / invoice.
19 One copy of this contract shall be given to client for reference.
20 This contract will be terminated after 6months if client is already unreachable and necessary fees will be
charged accordingly.
Warranty :
21 Warranty on materials 24 months is subject to provision of manufacturer / Supplier.
22 Warranty is good as long as damage is not a result of :
* Third party involvement in adding or altering the existing standard of finishing works.
* Wilful negligence of user.
* Wear & Tear.
23 Warranty of Workmanship - Any defects, shrinkage or other faults arising from materials supplied by the supplier or
workmanship not in accordance with the Agreement which may appear within the defects liability period of 12 months,
will be covered under this warranty.
24 In the event that the Works are not of an acceptable standard, or if the Contractor ceases work on the Premise
without reasonable explanation for more than 14 consecutive days, the Employer/Owner may terminate the
Agreement by paying the Contractor only the value of the Works already performed, less compensation for
inconvenience or additional expenses cased as a result thereof or the Employer/Owner may exercise and enforce
their strict legal rights for such stoppage.
Confidentiality of information :
25 All information would be kept strictly confidential and in line with PDPA rules.
26 Customers’ particulars collected are solely for completing sales transactions.
