GLOBAL WARMING
The Gradual increases in the planet’s surface temperature is known as global warming. Although
this warning trend has been around for a while ,the burning of fossil fuels has greatly
accelerated its pace over the past century The amount of fossil fuels burned has increased along
with the size of the human population. Burning fossil fuels, such as coal, oil , and natural gas,
results in the “ Greenhouse effect”in the atmosphere. Climate Change is the term used to
describe long-term changes in temperatures and weather patterns. These Changes may be
natural but since the 1800s, human activities have been the primary cause of climate change
primarily as a result of the burning of fossil fuels (such as coal, oil and gas ), which results in the
production of heat –trapping gases. Earth is warming and the climate is changing as a result at
least some of the blame lies with us. Understanding the causes, consequences, and complexities
of global warming is crucial is we are to effectively fight for tha survival of our planet.Climate
change is a problem that has arisen as a result of global warming. Although these expressions
are occasionally used interchangeably, they are not the same. Changes in global weather
patterns and growing seasons are referred to as climate change . it also refers to the rise in sea
level brought on by melting ice sheets and glaciers and the expansions of warmer oceans.
Climate change brought on by global warming poses a severe threat to life on earth in the form
of catastrophic weather events and extensive flooding. Scientists are still researching global
warming and how it affects the planet. The greenhouse effect occurs when the sun’s ray enter
the atmosphere. The pressure on the world to take climate action and achieve net zero continues
to grow .the market is transitioning from acceptance to purpose-driven action as a result of the
science clarity.Governments and business are mobilizing widely.Evidence of progress toward net
zero is becoming more and more in demand from regulators, investors the workforce, and
customers. The asia Pacific edition of PwC’s Net zero economy index the examines the region’s
progress toward net zero and identifies opportunities for policy innovation and alignment across
economies . The result are used to inform policymakers, businesses, and investors about the
regions progress toward net zero. In terms of decarborations rate, asia Pacific outperformed the
rest of the world in 2021, but it is still far short of what is required to keep global warming to
