The weir is proposed in the left flank (LS 45M to LS (-)10M). Therefore a surplus course
is to be formed to let out the designed discharge of 325.28 m3/sec into the river. The
surplus corse is formed wih slope of 1in1500. The discharge from thesurplus course is
let into an odai which is 200m downstream of the weir. The odai in turn joins river
Mathalapallam river.
