POWEROIL RP DW 150
RUST PREVENTIVE OIL

POWEROIL RP DW 150 is water displacement type, temporary rust preventive oil


formulated using superior quality hydrocarbon solvents, refined base oils and high
performance rust inhibitor additives. It provides protection to steel components against high
humidity & extreme corrosive environments. It effectively displaces moisture and protects the
surface by arresting rust and corrosion.

APPLICATION:

 Recommended for industries manufacturing nuts, bolts, HSS bearings, Steel tubes,
bars, tool-bits, tools and other small components for in-process protection.
 Recommended for protection of parts from machines using water-soluble oils and
synthetic oils as coolants.

PROTECTION OF TREATED PARTS:

 Indoors - 9 to 12 months
 Outdoors – 3 to 6 months

PERFORMANCE BENEFITS:

 Effective corrosion protection (even for small cast iron parts)


 Cost effective due to high coverage
 Easy removal of film with kerosene or any other petroleum solvent

Storage & Usage:

 Being solvent based, avoid storage near high temperature zones, direct flame /
spark areas.
 Store the material under shaded or covered area preferably with ambient
temperatures of 5°C to 40°C.
