THE ARTIST HIS WORK

Antonio Berni was born in 1905 in the city of Rosario, in the


Province of Santa Fe. He died in 1981 in the City of Buenos
Aires.
He was an Argentinian painter, engraver and muralist.
Berni belongs to the New Realism.
One of his most important murals is called: Juanito
Laguna. It is done with recycled material. (old wood, empty

Florencio Molina Campos was born in 1891


in the province of Buenos Aires. He died in
1959 in the City of Buenos Aires.

He was an Argentinian painter and drawer.


Molina Campos drew and painted about “La

THE BEGINNING OF THE WORLD
Mother Earth was good and beautiful. She married
Uranus, the Sky. He was big and strong. They had
twelve children, the Titans, six brothers and six
sisters. Then Mother Earth had six more sons: the
Cyclops and the Giants. They were monsters.

Uranus put the monsters in a prison, in the centre of the Earth. Mother Earth was sad. One of the
Titans, Cronus, helped his brothers. Cronus and Uranus had a fight and Cronus won the battle.
Cronus lived with his brothers and his wife Rhea on top of Mount Olympus. Cronus ate his
children. When his son Zeus was born, Rhea took him to an island and gave Cronus a stone.
Zeus had a fight with Cronus and he freed his brothers and sisters.
