Mantra & Stotrams / Spirituality

The principal god of preservation in Hinduism is Lord Vishnu (aka, Lord Narayana). He is in charge of
balancing the positive and negative aspects of cosmic energy. He is the only god among the Trinity of
Hinduism (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva) with the highest number of avatars mentioned in the scriptures,
and Lord Narasimha is his fourth avatar.

According to legend, Lord Vishnu took the form of a man with the head of a lion. As a result, Lord
Narasimha is regarded as a symbol of power and strength. The primary purpose of his incarnation on
Earth was to kill Hiranyakashipu, the most ferocious demon of the time.

Benefits Of Chanting Narasimha Kavacham

Lord Narasimha’s incarnation is particularly important in safeguarding spiritually active devotees from
demonic entities. So, if you’re surrounded by challenges and facing hardships in life, consider devoting
yourself to Lord Narashimha. Chanting the Narasimha Kavacham Mantra (sacred hymn) on a regular
basis has the capacity to heal any of your anxieties.

The word “kavacham” literally translates to “armour”. This Narasimha Kavacham mantra functions as
a shield to safeguard the welfare of his devotees, much like soldiers wear bullet-proof armour to defend
themselves from lethal weaponry.
