18. JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY TEACHERS ASSOCIATION (JNUTA)-2017 MET
HONORALBE PRIME MINISTER OF BANGLADESH H.E. SHEIKH HASINA
On 30th August 2017 (Wednesday), a five members’ representative team (President,
Vice-President, Treasurer and General Secretary) of Jagannath University Teachers
Association-2017 including Professor Md. Zahir Uddin Arif and Former Honorable
Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University Professor Mijanur Rahman met and discussed
with the Daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (the Founder of
Independent Bangladesh and the Father of Bengali Nation) and Honorable Prime
Minister of Bangladesh H.E. Sheikh Hasina at Prime Minister’s Office about the
development of Jagannath University campus and its facilities and handed over one-
day salary contributions of the respected faculty members of Jagannath University to
the Honorable Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. With due respect, as a Treasurer of JnUTA-
2017, Professor Arif urged the Honorable Prime Minister H.E. Sheikh Hasina to build
the Jagannath University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in an international standard ensuring all
facilities with her kind and heart-felt initiatives and contributions in this regard.
