Modular Process Skid Equipment
What is a modular process skid (MPS) ?
A modular process skid is a combination of equip-
ment that is connected on a frame. It can be a small
frame consist of a pump or a complicated high rise
system that has multiple mechanical component;
such as pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers,
storage tanks, pumps, compressors, steel structures
and interconnecting pipelines as well as electrical.

What are the benefits of modular process skid

equipment ?
Manufacturing, and building a system on the site is
very costly, slow and not safe compare to well-man-
aged fabrication shop. Investors and contractors are
looking ways to reduce the cost, risks and construc-
tion time, thus building industrial facilities with modu-

the noise generated by the expansion of gas or steam
from elevated pressures to atmospheric pressure.
These absorptive silencers are used to suppress noise
generated by high velocity gas streams such as steam
vents, safety relief valve outlets, system blow down and
purge outlets.
This noise can be generated due to the high velocity
flow through the valve and turbulence created around
any obstacle in the line that suddenly restricts or chang-
es the direction of flow such as valve or an orifice.

sive gases and particulates in a single unit. Wet Scrub-
bers also use heat reduction options in their process.

These units handle highly flammable dust with little risk of

explosion when they are properly designed.
Wet scrubbers offer several customizable options, based
on specific output and applications. These options often
allow a reduction in cost.

Dry Scrubber
Dry scrubbers work with a system that lets the pass
through the filters and harmful gases and odors are ab-
sorbed with this method.

The chemical filters should be chosen carefully and all

calculations should be made properly to reach high per-
formance and to obtain the desired outcome. The filters
might change from process to process due to gas and
chemical content.

In some cases, dry scrubbers can be retrofitted into cur-

rent equipment.

Bio Scrubber
ERGIL uses the power of chemistry and biology sciences
for Bio Scrubbers. Bacteria are used to absorb harmful
gasses & odors. These bacteria consume the harmful
chemicals as a way of absorption.

The chemical solution brings also biological solution, too,

and ERGIL let them react with each other.

Beyond it is mechanical design, a chemical process takes

place in the background and harmful gasses are filtered
by the different chemicals and bacteria which have the
power to absorb them. The used chemicals change from
process to process due to gas and chemical content.

Product Description
Compressor type surge vessels have been in
operation for many years all over the world as a
solution to surge problems. The system comprises
of a vessel containing water and a pre-calculated
volume of compressed air in order to give the re-
quired elasticity to push the water at the required
rate into the system. To achieve this balance, a
complicated system of control is required.

Starting with compressors, air receiver, solenoid

valves, measuring equipment and of course a
control panel. As the air is continuously dissolved
into the water, so the control system is activated
to replenish the compressed air volume in order to
maintain the required elasticity.

A number of security systems are also required in

the event of system failure.
