Dear Seventh-day Adventist(s), I am a 4th generation SDA.

I love you, so much so that I must share with you the message given us regarding the Sabbath of Creation. Your blood will be upon my head if I do not share this with you. I am going to say this with all due respect but as boldly and clearly as I can. Indeed, YHVH raised up the Adventist faith, but I think you know as well as I that the movement forward was thwarted in 1888 when the church rejected the 1888 message of Jones and Waggoner. Part of the end time message is a return to the statutes (see Malachi 4), including YHVHs other appointed times, the annual feasts. You can look into this for yourself. The evidence is there in our own writings. Remember in 1896 when EGW said that the Father could have been here ere this? She said it several times. In order for the Father to return though, He had to have a people following Him in all His precepts. Sister White VERY clearly spelled out our fate. If we did not move forward, we were doomed to wander in the wilderness. And this is what has happened. Friend, I believe YHVH raised up the Adventist faith, but He left it in 1888. It stopped being the remnant church in 1888. The Father is still in support of the message, but He could do nothing with those who would not follow. The cloud is moving; those who do not follow will be left in the wilderness. The Father went in search of others who would follow His voice. And though not all are Adventists, these folks are heeding and following. The Fathers Name and the festivals have been taught and accepted. The next step the Father would have given us in 1888 would have been the Creation Calendar, correcting Sabbath observance from the papal calendar. It is the progression of truth Sister Ellen spoke of SO many times. You have much to learn in a lot less time. I am encouraging you to PLEASE examine the evidence in this study. I have tailor made it JUST for Seventh-day Adventists. If you must see the SDA cover up first, start on page 13. Then return here. Did you know that the weekly Sabbath is supposed to be regulated by one of the lights in the heavens? From Scripture we find that the Sabbath is the seventh day of the Creators week and that there is a luminary that regulates the appointed times, including the Sabbath (Genesis 1:14, Psalm 104:19, Leviticus 23:1-3). Genesis 1:14 says that the luminaries in the heavens will be for signs [Hebrew word, Owth], seasons [Hebrew word, Moedim], days and years. In Psalm 104:19, David nearly quotes Genesis 1:14, only he is very specific about which light in the heavens will regulate the seasons [same Hebrew word, Moedim]. Moedim means appointed times, set feasts. David says that the moon regulates these appointed times. Leviticus 23:1-3 calls the weekly Sabbath the first feast [same Hebrew word, Moedim] or the first appointed time. Still doubting? Look at Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:12 and 20:20. In these passages, the Sabbath is called a sign. Same Hebrew word Moses used in Genesis 1:14. Owth. The Sabbath is a sign as well as an appointed time to meet with YHVH. And it is regulated by a celestial object. When the heart is brought into harmony with the word, a new life will spring up within you, a new light will shine upon every line of the word, and it will become the voice of G-d to your soul. In this way you will take celestial observations, and know whither you are going, and be able to make the most of your privileges to-day. Review & Herald, 11-24-1891 (Christian Education, p. 80)

This is an utterly amazing quote. Heres another. The searching of the Scriptures would reveal the harmony existing between the various parts of the Bible, and the bearing of one passage upon another. We do not perceive the meaning of the word of G-d without much study; but the reward of the study of the Bible is exceedingly precious to him who fears G-d and earnestly searches for truth as for hidden treasure. At the present day there are a large number in our churches who are not sufficiently interested in Bible study to seek to understand the mysteries of the truth. They do not go below the surface. Those who are living in these last days, who acknowledge the binding claims of the law of G-d, have no ordinary responsibility. They are not to be satisfied with the surface truths. That which lies plainly revealed, which costs us no effort, will not be esteemed as highly as the treasure that costs us diligent, prayerful research and investigation. Celestial truth is represented as treasure hid in a field, which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field, that he may work every part of it to discover the golden ore or precious gems. The earth itself cannot reveal treasures of as great value as can the Bible. No toil can so repay the diligent worker, as can the search for truth. Review & Herald 11-15-1892 We still regard the seventh-day as the Sabbath of the Supreme Being, the Sabbath established at Creation. We are simply returning to the original once we discovered the Gregorian calendar we were observing was a counterfeit. We have evidence that a lunar-solar calendar is the truth as it is in YHVH. We are still waiting for evidence to the contrary. Indeed, Israel later worshiped on Satyrday. But you have borne the tabernacle of your moloch [king] and Chiun your images, the star of your G-d which you made for yourselves. Amos 5:26 Chiun is the Hebrew word for Saturn. Here Amos sees a day where Israel worships a star-god that they would make for themselves. Stephen, in Acts 7:43 quotes Amos and is translated as Remphan, Greek for Saturn. Do this word study with your concordance. Isaiah 13:21 says But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. Isaiah 34:14 In both cases, the Hebrew word here translated as satyr is Strongs H8163. It would seem that the Father stopped Israels Satyrday observance early on. Speaking to Israel after their deliverance from Egypt, YHVH said And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations. Leviticus 17:7. Notice the word for devils (below). And they shall no 3808 more 5750 offer 2076 (853) their sacrifices 2077 unto devils, 8163 after 310 whom 834 they 1992 have gone a whoring. 2181 This 2063 shall be 1961 a statute 2708 forever 5769 unto them throughout their generations. 1755 2

Same Hebrew word, H 8163, Satyrs. Jeroboam and his sons were later cursed for leading Israel BACK into idolatry. II Chronicles 11:15 says And he [Jeroboam] ordained 5975 him priests 3548 for the high places, 1116 and for the devils, 8163 and for the calves 5695 which 834 he had made. 6213 Same Hebrew word, H 8163, Satyrs. Jeroboam brought back what YHVH had removed from Israel in Leviticus 17. And nearly every time Jeroboams name is mentioned thereafter it is either prefaced or followed by the statement, who has made my people Israel to sin. Amos reminded Israel of their Satyrday idolatry, Stephen repeated it and it got him killed. Some people are touchy about their idolatry. I hope you are not and are willing to examine why the Father calls Satyrday worship idolatry. This information is found in this study, which includes Scripture, EGW and historical references. PLEASE examine this. It is not rebellion, it is the reform that Sister White and our forefathers started, but were not permitted to finish because of our unbelief. The fourth commandment has been trampled upon, therefore we are called upon to repair the breach in the law and plead for the desecrated Sabbath. The man of sin, who exalted himself above G-d, and thought to change times and laws, brought about the change of the Sabbath from the seventh to the first day of the week. In doing this he made a breach in the law of G-d. Just prior to the great day of G-d, a message is sent forth to warn the people to come back to their allegiance to the law of G-d, which antichrist has broken down. Attention must be called to the breach in the law, by precept and example. Life Sketches of Ellen White, p. 96. The Creation Sabbath Ellen White When G-d created the earth and placed man upon it, he divided time into seven periods. Six he gave to man for his own use, to employ in secular business; one he reserved for himself. Having rested on the seventh day, he blessed and sanctified it. Henceforth, the seventh day was to be regarded as the L-rds rest-day, and to be sacredly observed as the memorial of his creative work. It was not the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth day that was sanctified, or set apart to a holy use, neither was it a seventh part of time and no day in particular; but it was the seventh day, the day upon which G-d had rested. We are every day to think of G-d and live as in his sight; but when the six days work is done, we are to remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy,--to cease from labor and devote the day exclusively to meditation and worship. When the law was given at Sinai, the Sabbath was placed in the midst of moral precepts, in the very bosom of the decalogue. But the Sabbath institution was not then made known for the first time. The fourth commandment places its origin at creation. The Creators rest-day was hallowed by Adam in holy Eden, and by men of G-d throughout the patriarchal ages. During Israels long bondage in Egypt, under taskmasters that knew not G-d, they could not keep the Sabbath; therefore the L-rd brought them out where they could remember his holy day. [They were delivered the day after Passover or on Abib 15, which is the Sabbath, the first day of Unleavened Bread, Lev 23:5-7.] 3

Before they came to Sinai, they understood the Sabbath to be obligatory upon them. After the giving of the manna, the people, of their own accord, gathered a double quantity on the sixth day in preparation for the Sabbath. And Moses, upon being consulted by the rulers, declared, This is that which the L-rd hath said, To-morrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the L-rd. On the seventh day he bade them eat that which they had provided. For, said he, to-day is a Sabbath unto the L-rd; today ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, in it there shall be none. When some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, they found no manna. Then the L-rd said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws? See, for that the L-rd hath given you the Sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. [Tomorrow was the 22nd of the second month -- 15 (Sabbath), 16 (manna), 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 (double manna), 22 (Sabbath). If the 22nd is the Sabbath, so was the 15th.] A threefold miracle was wrought in honor of the Sabbath, even before the law was given on Sinai. A double quantity of manna fell on the sixth day, none upon the Sabbath, and the portion needed for the Sabbath was preserved sweet and pure, when if any were kept over at any other time, it became unfit for food. Here is conclusive evidence that the Sabbath was instituted at creation, when the foundations of the earth were laid, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of G-d shouted for joy. And its sacredness remains unchanged, and will so remain even to the close of time. From the creation, every precept of the divine law has been obligatory on man, and has been observed by those who fear the L-rd. The doctrine that G-ds law has been abolished is one of Satans devices to compass the ruin of the race. The prophet Isaiah, looking forward to the gospel dispensation, sets forth in the most impressive manner the obligation of the Sabbath, and the blessings attending its observance: Thus saith the L-rd, Keep ye judgment, and do justice; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the L-rd, speak, saying, The L-rd hath utterly separated me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the L-rd unto the eunuchs that keep my Sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant, even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. Under the Mosaic law, strangers and eunuchs were excluded from the full enjoyment of the privileges granted to Israel. But the prophet declares that a time is coming when these restrictions will cease. The holy oracles were especially committed to the Jews; not to be an Israelite was not to belong to the favored people of G-d. The Jews had come more and more to regard themselves as superior by divine right to every other people upon the earth; yet they had not been careful to maintain their separate and holy character by rendering obedience to all the commandments of G-d. Now the prophet declares that the stranger who will love and obey G-d shall enjoy the privileges that have belonged exclusively to the chosen people. Hitherto, circumcision and a strict observance of the ceremonial law had been the conditions upon which Gentiles could be admitted to the congregation of Israel; but these distinctions were to be abolished by the gospel. Every one that keepeth the Sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant, even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people. The L-rd G-d which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, besides those that are gathered unto him. [Circumcision of the flesh will be and is STILL required, Ezekiel 44:5-9.] 4

Again, after rebuking the selfishness, violence, and oppression of Israel, and exhorting them to works of righteousness and mercy, he declares: And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the L-rd, honorable, and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words, then shalt thou delight thyself in the L-rd, and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father; for the mouth of the L-rd hath spoken it. The first part of the chapter brings to view a people who apparently delight in the service of G-d; they seek him daily, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their G-d. Yet their lives are not right before the L-rd; for he commands his prophet, Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. He declares that if they will return unto the L-rd with all the heart, they shall be called repairers of the breach, the restorers of paths to dwell in. Then he distinctly shows them what this breach is. If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath,--for they had been trampling it under their feet as a thing despised,--then shalt thou delight thyself in the L-rd; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father; for the mouth of the L-rd hath spoken it. [Interestingly, the Sabbath alone is mentioned in this restoration chapter, Isaiah 58:12-14.] This prophecy reaches down the centuries to the time when the man of sin attempted to make void one of the precepts of G-ds law, to trample under foot the original Sabbath of Jehovah, and in its stead exalt one of his own creation. And when the Christian world set aside G-ds holy Sabbath, and in its place accept a common working day, unsanctioned by a single Thus saith the L-rd, they are encouraging infidelity, and virtually acknowledging the supremacy of that power by whose authority alone the change has been effected. The rejection of the Sabbath has led to the rejection of the whole law, and thousands of professed Christians now boldly declare it void. The law of ten commandments, which has been so lightly disregarded, is the foundation of many generations; and no man or body of men has been authorized to set aside, or vary in the slightest particular, one of the ten precepts of Jehovah. G-d spoke this law from Sinai in awful grandeur, in the hearing of all Israel, and he wrote it with his own fingers upon tables of stone, not for his chosen people only, but for all men, to the close of time. Christ himself declares that while the heavens and the earth remain, not one jot or tittle shall pass from this holy law. There were two institutions founded in Eden that were not lost in the fall,--the Sabbath and the marriage relation. These were carried by man beyond the gates of paradise. He who loves and observes the Sabbath, and maintains the purity of the marriage institution, thereby proves himself the friend of man and the friend of G-d. He who by precept or example lessens the obligation of these sacred institutions is the enemy of both G-d and man, and is using his influence and his G-d-given talents to bring in a state of confusion and moral corruption. The Signs of the Times, 2-28-188. Sister Ellen never called it Satyrday did she? Look up creation Sabbath in her writings. Do these verses bar the Sabbath from close scrutiny? Has the Sabbath been safe-guarded in some way while every other institution of YHVH has been attacked and counterfeited? The Adversary has a counterfeit for everything else established by the Creator, why would he ignore the Sabbath? 5

We are to be sanctified through the truth. The word of G-d presents special truths for every age. The dealings of G-d with His people in the past should receive our careful attention. We should learn the lessons which they are designed to teach us. But we are not to rest content with them. G-d is leading out His people step by step. Truth is progressive. The earnest seeker will be constantly receiving light from Heaven. What is truth? should ever be our inquiry. Signs of the Times, 5-26-1881 [All emphasis added] Truth is what? Static? Here is an indictment of modern churchianity: Can you name even ONE new truthful doctrine, new light, that has been taught from the pulpit of the mainstream denominations in the last 100 years? Those who walk in the light will progress Truth is progressive; and those who are preparing for the last great day will go forward in accordance with the accumulated light which shines upon them. The truth which G-ds messengers have presented by pen and by voice, the treasures of the word of G-d which they have opened to the people, the light which has penetrated the darkened chambers of the mind, will, if rejected, be witnesses against them in the last great day. The testimony which will come with condemning power upon the sinner, and which will close his mouth before G-d and testify of his guilt, is the fact that he saw the light, but for various reasons in harmony with the carnal heart, would not receive it. He would not receive the truth that was given to save him. Review & Herald, 1-05-1886 Truth is what? Immovable? The truth of G-d is progressive; it is always onward, going from strength to a greater strength, from light to a greater light. We have every reason to believe that the L-rd will send us increased truth, for a great work is yet to be done. In our knowledge of truth, there is first a beginning in our understanding of it, then a progression, then completion; first the blade, then the ear, and after that the full corn in the ear. Much has been lost because our ministers and people have concluded that we have had all the truth essential for us as a people; but such a conclusion is erroneous and in harmony with the deceptions of Satan; for truth will be constantly unfolding. Signs of the Times, 5-26-1890 Truth is what? Frozen in time? It is not the truth that hurts us, it is that we have been taught and believed so many things that are not true. Truth wears no mask. Bows at no human shrine. Seeks neither favor nor applause. She asks only a hearing. Truth moves forwardit does not return to Rome like a dog returns to its vomit. Truth is progressive; it unfolds revealing ever more evidence that Yahs ways are higher than our ways. The truth is that EVERY denomination is steadily returning to the embrace of Rome. Alfred Rivera, a former Jesuit soldier who successfully got out of this Catholic order once said that there was a well known international sign that was to proclaim to all Jesuit society members when all religious denominations had been successfully infiltrated. When an American president was sworn in facing an obelisk, this was the sign that all religious denominations were under the control of the Jesuits. In 1980, Ronald Reagan was sworn in facing the Washington Monument. For the first time in American history, an elected president was sworn in on that side of the White house, facing an obelisk. There is more Babylon in the churches today than there was yesterdaythe decline is that rapid.

We have many lessons to learn, and many, many to unlearn Review & Herald, 7-26-1892. If you are scoring this at home, we have twice as many things to UNlearn as we have yet to learn! Which day do you keep sacred? Sunday, the current first day of the pagan Roman/papal calendar, or Saturday, the current seventh day of the pagan Roman/papal calendar. I say current because these days were not always the first and seventh days of the week, respectively. As a side note, I find it interesting that we pronounce the n in Wodens day (Wednesday), but we dont for Saturns day (Saturday). Have you ever heard of a Satyr? The cloven footed half-man, half-goatthe universal symbol of Satan himself? Sunday is the obvious fraud. Only the enemies of YHVH would observe Sunday, in honor of the pagan sun-G-d. But every Satyrday, of every week, of every year, Sabbatarians everywhere, in spite of themselves, worship on Satyrday a day named after Satan himself. Very cleverly, the Adversary receives his worship every week, all year long, by sincere folks who believe they are following YHVH. Friends, what we have here is a dual counterfeit; one is obvious, the other not-so-obvious. Even if Saturday really is named after Saturn, dont think we are going to get off the hook so easily. Saturn worship is the oldest form of Satanism and is clearly and historically linked to Satyr, the horned goat. Please feel free to connect the dots The source for the information in blue is given later. Satan (or Pan) is called the Horned god. Pan a lusty satyr, half-man, half-goat, was given to every form of licentiousness and debauchery. Kronos, the father of the godsfor a certain wicked deed, was called Titan, and cast down to hell. Kronos is none other than Satan himself. Titan, or Teitan, as it is sometimes spelled, is the Chaldee form of the Hebrew word Sheitan, the common name of the Adversary. In the region where the Chaldean Mysteries were originally concocted,--that Adversary who was ultimately the real father of all the pagan gods,--and who (to make the title of Kronos or Saturn, the Horned One, appropriate to him also) was symbolized by the Kerastes, the Horned serpent. Horned goat, horned serpent, father of the gods, Titan, Sheitan, Satan (Adversary).hmm. Kronos, who is none other than Satan himself also claims to be in charge if TIME! Kronos is where we get our work Chronology, the study of time. Kronos, said another way, is also called Father Time. Please recall the following text For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim: 7

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. Isaiah 14:13-14 The word congregation here is the Hebrew word Moedim, which means appointed times. A mountain in Scripture is a controlling power or authoritarian presence. What Satan is proclaiming here is that he will sit on the mount of the appointed times. He is saying that he will control the calendar, and the appointed times. And indeed he does. He controls his own calendar, counterfeit to the Fathers. Now, the name Saturn in Chaldee is pronounced Satur; but, as every Chaldee scholar knows, consists only of four letters, thus S T U R. This name contains exactly the Apocalyptic number 666 S = 060 T = 400 U = 006 R = 200 666

There is no excuse for anyone in taking a position that there is no more truth to be revealed, and that all our [SDA] expositions of Scripture are without error. The fact that certain doctrines have been held as truth for many years by our [SDA] people, is not proof that our [SDA] ideas are infallible. Age will not make error into truth, and truth can afford to be fair. No true doctrine will lose anything by close investigation. Review & Herald, 12-20-1892 Truth is a two edged sword. If we are going to condemn Sunday observance as worshipping on the venerable day of the Sun, Satyrday Sabbath keepers need to look in the mirror. Is worshipping on a day named after Satan any better? Satyrday bears the name of our enemy. Now watch The Sabbath question is to be the issue in the great final conflict in which all the world will act a part. Men have honored Satans principles above the principles that rule in the heavens. They have accepted the spurious sabbath, which Satan has exalted as the sign of his authority. But G-d has set His seal upon His royal requirement. Each sabbath institution bears the name of its author, an ineffaceable mark that shows the authority of each. It is our work to lead the people to understand this. G-d has called us to uplift the standard of His downtrodden Sabbath. How important, then, that our example in Sabbathkeeping should be right. Testimonies to the Church, Vol. 6, p. 352-353 Fact: Satyrday bears the name of our Adversary. A counterfeit has to look a like the original. Sunday has never been called the Sabbath and cannot rightly be called a Sabbath (spurious or otherwise) as it is not the seventh day of anything. Sunday does not look like a Sabbath nor was the above author was referring to Sunday as a spurious Sabbath. Sunday is the obvious fraud. Satyrday, however, looks a lot like the 7th day (only of the wrong calendar), part of a very clever dual counterfeit. Here is some information you may not like, but ignore it at your own peril. Satyrday is a Roman day of the week. It is their invention, so they control the terminology, the days placement in the week, and in fact, everything about this day. Here it is Satyrday was originally the FIRST DAY of the pagan week, not the seventh. 8

In Shawui Sabbath: Ancient Sabbath Observance, the author states Early historical records clearly confirm that very early Gentile Christians also kept the same Sabbath Calendar as the...Nazarenes. This practice was first changed by [Pope] Sixtus in 126 A.D. and later officially changed by a royal Roman decree from the emperor Constantine. Observance of the Sabbath day was made illegal and observance of a Sunday of a fixed week was made mandatory for all except farmers. Previous to this time the Roman Saturday was the first day of the Roman week. The veneration of the Sun in the second century A.D. began to pressure Roman culture to change the first day of their week from Saturnday to Sunday. [All emphasis my own.] It was during the fourth century that the planetary week, the continuous 7-day cycle named after Roman planetary gods, was written into Roman law. At this time, Sunday, was named the first day of the seven day planetary week, and was tabbed as the day of rest for the Empire. This move bumped the original first day all the way back to the seventh column. It is a historical fact. Here is a second witness Talking about the time prior to the Diaspora, Hutton Webster tells us that, An old and still common theory derives the Sabbath institution from the worship of Saturn after which planet the first day of the astrological week received its designation. The theory is untenable for more than one reason. In the first place the Hebrews did not name their weekdays after the planets, but indicated them by ordinal numbers. In the second place Saturns day began the planetary week, while the Jewish [Hebrew] Sabbath was regarded as the last day of the seven, a suitable position for a rest day. Hutton Webster, in his book, Rest Days, p. 243. The historical record reveals the truth of the matter very well. The Hebrew month is a lunar month and the quarter of this periodone phase of the moonappears to have determined the week of seven days. Encyclopedia Biblica, p. 4780. The [early] Hebrews employed lunar seven-day weekswhich ended with special observances on the seventh day but none the less were tied to the moons course. Hutton Webster, in his book, Rest Days, page 254. It is a known fact that Israel observed the Sabbaths based on the lunar cycle In the time of the earliest prophets, the New Moon stood in the same line with another lunar observance, the Sabbath. Ezekiel, who curiously enough frequently dates his prophecies on the New Moon describes the gate of the inner court of the (new) temple looking eastward as kept shut for the six working days, but opened on the Sabbath and the New Moon. Scribners Dictionary of the Bible (1898 edit.), p. 521 each lunar month was divided into four parts, corresponding to the four phases of the moon. The first week of each month began with the new moon, so that, as the lunar month was one or two days more than four periods of seven days, these additional days were not reckoned at all. The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, Vol. 10, p. 482. Article Week. Among all early nations the lunar months were the readiest large divisions of time... (and was divided in 4 weeks), corresponding (to) the phases or the quarters of the moon. In order to connect the reckoning by weeks with the lunar month, we find that all ancient nations observed some peculiar solemnities to mark the day of the New Moon. Sabbath and New Moon (Rosh Hodesh), both periodically recurring in the course of the year. The New Moon is still, and the Sabbath originally was, dependent upon the lunar cycle.. Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, p. 410 [All emphasis is my own.] The four quarters of the moon supply an obvious division of the month...it is most significant that in the older parts of the Hebrew scriptures the new moon and the Sabbath are almost invariably mentioned together. The [Lunar] month is beyond question an old sacred division of time common to all the Semites; even the Arabs, who received the week at quite a late period from the Syrians, greeted the New Moon with religious acclamations. We cannot tell [exactly] when the Sabbath became disassociated from the month. Encyclopedia Biblica (1899 edit.), pp. 4178 and 4179 How is it that scholars cannot tell when the Sabbath was disassociated from the lunar cycle while modern Sabbath keepers in general deny that the Sabbath was ever connected with the moon in the first place? This truth is returning and it will turn Adventism upside down. All truth passes through three stages. If you have not noticed, the wise virgins need to wake up. The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his masters crib: but Israel doth not know, My people doth not consider. Isaiah 1:3 Demanding Evidence: When is Enough ENOUGH? If these persons do not humble their hearts before G-d, if they harbor the suggestions of Satan, doubt and infidelity will take possession of the soul, and they will see everything in a false light. Let the seeds of doubt once be sown in their hearts and they will have an abundant harvest to reap. They will come to mistrust and disbelieve truths which are plain and full of beauty to others who have not educated themselves in unbelief. Those who train the mind to seize upon everything which they can use as a peg to hang a doubt upon, and suggest these thoughts to other minds, will always find occasion to doubt. They will question and criticize everything that arises in the unfolding of truth, criticize the work and position of others, criticize every branch of the work in which they have not themselves a part. Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 689 G-d gives light to guide those who honestly desire light and truth; but it is not His purpose to remove all cause for questioning and doubt. He gives sufficient evidence to found faith upon, and then requires men to accept that evidence and exercise faith. Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 303. The Test of New Light Our brethren should be willing to investigate in a candid way every point of controversy. If a brother is teaching error, those who are in responsible positions ought to know it; and if he is teaching truth, they ought to take their stand at his side. We should all know what is being taught among us; for if it is truth, we need it. We are all under obligation to G-d to know what He sends us. He has given directions by which we may test every doctrine,--To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.[ISA. 8:20.] If the light presented meets this test, we are not to refuse to accept it because it does not agree with our ideas. The momentous issues at stake through neglect of the Word of G-d should be carefully considered. The study of the Bible is worthy of the best mental effort, the most sanctified ability. When new light is presented to the church, it is perilous to shut yourselves away from it. Refusing to hear because you are prejudiced against the message or the messenger will not make your case excusable before G-d. To condemn that which you have not heard and do not understand will not exalt your wisdom in the eyes of those who are candid in their investigations of truth. And to speak with contempt of those whom G-d has sent with a message of truth, is folly and madness. If our youth are seeking to educate themselves to be workers in His cause, they should learn the way of the L-rd, and live by every word that proceedeth out of His mouth. They are not to make up their minds that the whole truth has been unfolded, and that the Infinite One has no more light for His people. If they entrench themselves in the belief that the whole truth has been revealed, they will be in danger of discarding precious jewels of truth that shall be discovered as men turn their attention to the searching of the rich mine of G-ds Word. Testimonies to Sabbath School Workers, p. 60 Here EGW calls it like she sees, and names names I saw that G-d had children who do not see and keep the Sabbath. They have not rejected the light upon it. And at the commencement of the time of trouble, we were filled with the Holy Ghost as we went forth and proclaimed the Sabbath more fully. This enraged the churches and nominal Adventists, as they could not refute the Sabbath truth. And at this time G-ds chosen all saw clearly that we had the truth, and they came out and endured the persecution with us. I saw the sword, famine, pestilence, and great confusion in the land. The wicked thought that we had brought the judgments upon them, and they rose up and took counsel to rid the earth of us, thinking that then the evil would be stayed. Early Writings, p. 33 Why would a Sabbath message enrage the churches and nominal Adventists? Adventists, even nominal ones (which means, in name only) have accepted the Sabbath. What new Sabbath message could possibly incite rage among Adventists? The last final conflict is not going to be about Sabbath vs. Sunday, it is going to be about the True Sabbath vs. Satyrday. Remember, a counterfeit has to look a great deal like the original. Sunday, the first day of the week, looks NOTHING like the seventh-day Sabbath. But a spurious Sabbath, the seventh day of a counterfeit calendar, could generate sufficient hostilities. If you think not, keep your eyes open. Its coming. Now is the time! What does she mean Sabbath more fully? Let her answer this question.... The minds of the people, blinded and debased by slavery and heathenism, were not prepared to appreciate fully the far-reaching principles of G-ds ten precepts. That the obligations to the Decalogue might be more fully understood and enforced, additional precepts were given, illustrating and applying the principles of the Ten Commandments. Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 310. Again, here is an example of the statutes illustrating or amplifying the fourth commandment.... Again the people were reminded of the sacred obligation of the Sabbath. Yearly feasts were appointed, . . . The object of these regulations was stated: they proceeded from no exercise of mere arbitrary sovereignty; all were given for the good of Israel. These laws were to be recorded by Moses, and carefully treasured as the foundation of the national law, and, with the ten precepts which they were given to illustrate, the condition of the fulfillment of G-ds promises to Israel. Remember Thomas Enright, the Bishop who offered $1000 dollars in the quote above? This quote has been used by SDAs forever to prove that Sunday is not the Sabbath. Brace yourself! We are quick to quote this fellow about the Papacys abrogation of the Sabbath commandment. However, he does not end there: The Catholic Church abolished not only the Sabbath, but all the other Jewish festivals. THOMAS ENRIGHT, C.S.S.R. And he shall speak pompous words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times (moedim) and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Daniel 7:25 Here is a quote that Adventists will not like one bit: Patrick Madrid, Catholic conservative made the startling comment on EWTN, Global Catholic Radio Network on Jan 5, 2006 when answering a question about the Catholic Church changing the day of worship from satyrday to sunday: ...There was a distinct break between the Old Testament requirements . . . dealing with the Sabbath worship... They wanted to show that Christianity was distinct from Judaism... The other thing that we should remember, too, is that our calendar that we follow, including Seventh-day Adventists, is not only a calendar that was devised by the Catholic Church, but also it is a calendar thats based upon the solar year, not the lunar year and the Jewish calendar that was observed in the time of Christ follows a lunar calendar . . . So the great irony is that even the Seventh-day Adventists themselves are not worshipping on exactly the same Sabbath day as the Jews of the time of Christ. 12

Need more proof? The Adventist denomination ADMITS that satyrday is not the Sabbath, and they have KNOWN this since the 1840s. The impossibility of a friday crucifixion of the Julian/Gregorian calendar, followed by Jesus rest in the tomb on a satyrday in A.D. 31 was a truth acknowledged by the early Adventist pioneers. This is not a conspiracy theory. In fact William Miller himself originally believed that Jesus was crucified in A.D. 33 instead of A.D. 31, simply because he was not able to harmonize sunday (his Sabbath) of the Julian/Gregorian Calendar to the resurrection. (See Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, Vol. 4, by L.E. Froom, Review & Herald Publishing Association p. 478) Miller knew that the full moon for Passover in A.D. 31 fell on a Julian calendar wednesday, and not on the Friday crucifixion, thus making it impossible for Jesus to have rested in the tomb on a satyrday, followed by a sunday resurrection. Forty years later in 1883, the problem was still unresolved. In that year, the first Adventist Yearbook was published. It included calendar information for all of 1883 including dates and times for astronomical new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter phases of the moon. On page 66 of the online 1883 Yearbook, (see last page) appeared the following statement beneath the calendar for July: "Those who disbelieve in the seventh-day Sabbath bring against it numerous objections, all of which are readily answered with the exception of one, THE CROSS. This is the great, the unanswerable objection to the Bible Sabbath." (Capitalization in original) This is a quote from the July, 1883 yearbook. So from the early 1840s, to 1883, early Adventists were UNABLE to prove that satyrday is the Sabbath. There is a reason for this. Satyrday is not the Sabbath. It gets worse. The SDA church learned for certain that Israel observed a lunar/solar calendar back in the late 1930s. A committee was formed to prove a fri-sat-sun crucifixion weekend, but found that when they counted backward by 7 to 31 A.D., Passover fell on what we would now call wednesday, not friday. Perplexed, the committee wrote extensively to leading scholars around the world trying to figure this out, but they were told by every one of them that what they had found was correct, that Israel had a lunar/solar calendar, and that Passover in 31 A.D. would have been on what we now call wednesday if you count backward by seven. While trying to figure out what was going on, WWII broke out and the committee was disbanded and was never reconvened. None other than M. L. Andreasen stopped all further investigation by saying that a lunar calendar would be too confusing. You can find this information on this website: www.4angelspublications.com Sister White said in 1896 that the Father could have returned before that time IF the 1888 message had been accepted. In 1888, the Adventist Church refused to accept Jones and Waggoners message, part of which was a return to statute observance (which would have ultimately included the Feasts). The feasts are only observed on a lunar calendar. This would have eventually proved the Sabbath by the moon and Israels lunar/solar calendar as the committee in 1938-1939 discovered. Grace Amadon sat on that committee (above) and chronicled the findings of the same. They found that they could not count backward by 7 to the crucifixion, and discovered that Israel employed a lunar/solar calendar, but did NOTHING with this information (well, Miss Amadon tried). In fact, it was swept under the rug by ONE man. So much for taking it before a multitude of counselors, huh? 13

From what we can now determine, Miss Amadon was the only one who made the extra effort, even after the committee had been dissolved, to get to the bottom of this issue. Here is what she had to say: There can be no substitute for the governing principles of luni-solar time . . . These laws were established by the Creator from the very origin of time, and they will last throughout eternity. If they seem useless and impractical to us, it is because we do not understand them. Grace Amadon What the battle of Jericho does in the Old Testament, the crucifixion does in the New. Both prove that satyrday is NOT the Sabbath. You cannot have a seven consecutive day battle without encountering a satyrday Sabbath (assuming that is the calendar Israel was usingthey werent). And there are only three dates that scholars agree MIGHT have been the year of the crucifixion: 30, 31 and 33 A.D. And in NONE of these years was there a friday/satyrday/sunday sequence for Passover (Crucifixion day), the first day of Unleavened Bread (the weekly Sabbath), and the day of wavesheaf (resurrection day). As long as SDAs insist that 31 A.D. was the crucifixion year, they will be unable to prove that satryday is the Sabbath. So, which will it be, prophecy or the Sabbath? SDAs have one of these (and perhaps both) wrong. Ecclesiasticus 43:6-8; (2nd century BC) And then the moon, ever punctual to mark the times, an everlasting sign: It is the moon that signals the feasts, a luminary that wanes after being full. The month derives its name from hers, she waxes wonderfully in her phases, banner of the hosts on high, shining in the vault of the heavens. Remember Genesis 1:14, Psalm 104:19 and Leviticus 23:1-3 (as well as Exodus 31:13, Ezekiel 20:12 and 20:20)? If you cant go outside and look at the sun and have it tell you that it is the Sabbath, then you are looking at the wrong light in the heavens.
