1.1 Fire tube boiler vs water tube boiler

fire tube boiler passes combustion gas inside a series of tubes surrounded by water in a
vessel to produce steam, while a water tube instead sends water through a series of tubes
surrounded by combustion gas used to transfer heat energy and produce steam.

1.2 Safety valve of boiler vs blowdown valve

A blowdown valve's main function is to control a continuous or intermittent flow of steam
or fluid under high differential pressure. Fans that are used to evacuate a space or create
negative air pressure in a system are referred to as induced draft fans.

1.3 Forced draft vs Induced draft
FD fan or forced draft fan, draws air from the atmosphere and forces it into the
furnace through a preheater. These fans are located at the inlet of the boiler to push high
pressure fresh air into combustion chamber, where it mixes with the fuel to produce positive
pressure.

1.4 super heater vs re heater

Superheaters are one of the most important accessories of boiler that improves the
thermal efficiency. Reheaters They are the same as the superheaters but as their exit
temperature is a little bite less than superheaters and their pressure is 20 percent 25 percent
less than the superheater, they can stand less quality material alloys.
1.5 Impulse turbine vs Reaction turbine
Impulse turbines are defined as turbines in which high-velocity jets of water or steam
collide with the blades of the turbine to rotates the turbine and produce electricity using this
winding. 2 Reaction Turbines are the turbines that use the pressure as well as the velocity of
the moving water to rotate. Reaction turbines are placed in the water stream where the water
enters the casing tangentially.
