Event Name: Pitch the Label

Have you ever tried practicing your marketing skills? This event brings out the
entrepreneur in you!

Can you pitch for a product in just 2 minutes? Bring out the inner zeal of
pitching products not to ask for favour but to offer amazing ideas.

Rules: -
1. Only one registration per group is required.
2. One Team can have maximum of 2 participants.
3. Topics will be provided beforehand.
4. Participants have to design a poster/banner that will serve the purpose
of promotion of the given food product (like those found in newspapers
and magazines, etc).
5. Refer to any packaged food product for details. It should contain
nutritional details, Ingredients, Product Name and Description, price and
other details, according to FSSAI Guidelines.
6. The design can be either hand-made or digital. No extra credit for digital
poster/banner.
7. Bring your respective poster designs on the day of event ( If digital
poster, bring in pendrive; if handmade, bring the paper).
8. On the event day, you will present your product labelling design and
pitch your product in front of the judges to sell your product.
9. Each team will be given a time of 5 minutes to pitch their products,
followed by a session of questionnaire.
10. All members from each team should be present during the
presentation and questionnaire.

Event Name: Spot the Ingredients


Finding food is easy but finding food technology in food it's not that simple
This game will put your sense of smell, taste, and touch to the test!
Rules: -
1. This is a solo competition.
2. The participant will be blindfolded. They have to identify the ingredients
of food items by smell, touch, or taste.
3. The one who identifies more ingredients at a lesser time wins.

Event Name: Production and Combination


Are you creative enough to come up with new food product ideas from a given
set of ingredients?
Then this game is just for you! It is basically permutation and combination, but
with FOOD! Already sounds tasty right?! Bring out your inner foodie as well as
a creative mind to make something delicious.

Rules: -

1. There will be many chits given in a bowl. In each of the chits, there will
be 6 raw materials written in the paper among which, one will be
completely uncommon.
2. Once the game starts, they will open the chits and read, think, discuss
with their partners. For these purposes, they will be given 10 minutes.
3. They will have to come up with a food product idea using the
ingredients given in the chits and write the following:
A. Food Product Name
B. Process Flow Sheet for the Food Product
1. After that 10 minute, some of the teams will be shortlisted.
2. These teams will have to present their innovative idea in front of the
judges.

Event Name: Process Puzzle


Have a knack for minute process details behind a food product? Think you
know how a delicious bar of Chocolate or a Hot plate of Pasta origin ? This
event requires you to arrange jumbled unit steps in order to reach a food
product. No, you will not get to grab it, but the prize money will be yours!
Rules: -

1.Only one registration per group is required


2.Team can be formed upto 2 members maximum
3.Each team will be shown a flowchart at the beginning which they have to
remember
4.Then they will be given a set of processes in the form of chits which they
have to arrange by that flowchart to get a food product
5.The team with the correct flowcharts wins
6.Anyone caught tempering with the Chits, will be eliminated

Event Name: Food Photography


Have you stopped scrolling by seeing the vibrant photos of food popping on
your timeline and wished to just capture your delicacies? Food Photography
gives you the perfect platform to showcase this talent.

Rules: -
1.This is a solo competition
2.Each participant should send a single mail containing their submission and
their details (event name i.e., FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY, Name, College Name,
Phone Number, Invoice ID, (mentioned in the event confirmation mail that you
have received from Geekonix)) tofood4funfff@gmail.com
3.Proper EXIF File should be available. The participant will be disqualified if
he/she fails to show a proper exif file.
4.Plagiarism is a serious offense and we (InFocus) as a Photography Club are
against Plagiaristic tendencies.
5.No Screenshots, Facebook Downloads etc. will be entertained.
6.Watermark should not be there.
7.Frames, cheap filters must be avoided.
8.You can click photographs on either of these two topics. Maximum four

Event Name: BOARDROOM

This event will help you to get an idea about who are the members behind
great businesses like CEO, CFO, CTO, HRO, IE and how they effect
business by giving their suggestions in decision making. The real-life
situations and problems related to the business world will make you
brainstorm and come up with a solution according to your assigned role.

This is a solo competition.

Round 1:

The students who have registered will have to go through an Interview


process/ GD round. The format will be similar to business interviews. The
candidates who perform well will qualify for Round 2.

Round 2:

The shortlisted candidates would be assigned a particular role of a board


member. Participants have to defend their point and give the best solution
possible for business problems with respect to their roles in the company.

Rules:

1. A team can consist of a minimum 1 and a maximum of 4 members.

Make posters and advertisements on pre-defined theme/ imaginary
product. The idea of this event is to allow the players to explore their
creativity as well as their marketing power.

Rules:

1. Team can consist of maximum of 2 members (even solo participation


accepted).

3. Any form of plagiarism will lead to direct disqualification.

Round:
The registered teams will have to make a poster on the product/theme
specified by the organising committee.

Event Name: NIRMAAN (Bridge Making)

The art of constructing Bridge. Bring out the Engineer inside you, may the
Bridge you build today, light the way for a better tomorrow.

Materials Required:
1. Wooden Popsicle sticks, white glue will be provided on spot.
2. All other necessary materials (scissors, art paper, blades/other cutting
materials, thread, clips etc.) may be brought by the participants
themselves.
Dimensions and weight:

1. WEIGHT: 250 g(Max)


2. LENGTH: 50-60 cm
3. HEIGHT: Height of 1 popsicle to 18 cm.
4. WIDTH: 10-14 cm (width of road surface of bridge: 3 cm).

Rules: -
1. Only wooden Popsicle sticks and white glue can be used to construct
the bridges. No other materials are permitted.
2. The wooden sticks can be cut to fit as desired.
3. The amount of sticks used in the bridge is limited only by the
Dimensions and Weight restrictions.
4. The weight of the bridge shall not exceed 250 grams. “Weight” means
finished weight, including sticks and glue, and includes all attachments
submitted with the bridge. Penalties will be assessed against
overweight bridges.
5. Entries will be disqualified if there is evidence of heat treating (baking,
etc.).
6. Suspension Bridge Model is not permitted in this event.
7. Construction- 4 hours. Load Test Outcome- Load Testing will be
conducted on the 3rd event day.
8. The Strength Factor will be computed using the formula: Efficiency=
(applied force)/(self weight of the bridge).
If the above-mentioned criteria are not fulfilled, it may lead to- points
deduction, penalties or even disqualification.

Paper and Innovation combine to form PAPER-O-VATION, where we can


create a bridge made of newspapers, yes you heard it right, bridge out of
newspapers.
A fun event where the longest bridge, within the given time limit, will be the
winner.

Rules: -

1. Participants should finish and submit their work within 120 mins.
2. Participants should make their drawing according to the specified area
and floor area ratio.
3. Points will be deducted if the drawing requirements mentioned in the
problem statements are not fulfilled.
4. Additional points will be given on the completion of drawing before the
given time period.
5. The judgement given by the judges are final.

Event name: ARENA 64 (Chess)

1) Participants need to create a free account on lichess (https://lichess.org/)


with a proper username. Ignore if you already have an account.
2) This is an individual participation event. The event will consist of two
stages.
3) Stage 1 - Qualification
a. Time control - 10+0
b. Participants will compete in a lichess arena lasting for 1 hour.
One can play as many games as possible in that time. The more
you win, the more points you get. The top 30 players from stage 1
based on total points will qualify for stage 2.
4) Stage 2 - SWISS Tournament
a. Time control - 10+5
b. All qualified participants will play a Swiss Tournament consisting
of 5 rounds. The latest FIDE rules shall apply and in case of

Event Name: Mekanix
Turning your idea into reality with your creative mindset and general
awareness. No prior investment, No special skills, just your creative approach
to problem will make you champion in this event. Our aim is to evolve your
thinking and brainstorming capabilities.
Each team should consist of 2-4 members.
This event will be conducted in four
rounds: -
Round 1: -
A written test consisting of questions from General awareness, Maths,
Reasoning , Sudoku will be there. There will be 25 questions and 30 minutes
will be allocated to solve. Only 2 members of a team is allowed to participate
in this round. No negative marking will there.
Round 2: -

In this round a Quiz will be there, each team will be given a question . If that
team is unable to answer it, then the question will be transferred to other team,
And if the other team answers it then it will get extra point. Two(2) members
of team can participate in this round.

Round 3: -
Top performer of round 1 and round 2 collectively will be allowed to participate
in round 3 .In this round participant will have to make a working model. But
there are some riddles, each team need to solve those riddles first and find
the model. Then we will show a sample model for reference and participants
will have to use their creative mind and create a unique model. The team who
solve the riddles first get some advantage. All the participants will be given
virtual money and by virtual money they will have to purchase parts of the
model. 1.5 hour time will be allocated for this round. The model that is made
from the least money and the most effective will be the winner.

There will be a starting and ending point on the track. The bot must follow
a white line on the black surface passing through some hurdles in the track.
Some rules must be followed during this event:
1. The bot must complete the whole track and pass through every
hurdle in it, also it must stop at the endpoint.
2. The time taken by the robot to finish the run will be recorded in
seconds.
3. Whenever a bot reaches the checkpoint (will be marked by a white
line strip), it is supposed to indicate that with a suitable indicator (like
LED blinking). This indicator should be off at all other times.
Prelims:
1. All the participants will be provided some time for trials on the track
and then a final will be taken.
2. While performing the final, one restart can be given without
deducting any points.
3. On passing a hurdle you will be given 50 points.
4. For a clear indication at every checkpoint, you will be given 20
points.
5. On each hand touch, 10 points will be deducted.
6. On stopping the bot at the endpoint additional 20 points will be given.
7. Depending on the time taken by the bot to compete the track
winners will be qualified for the finals.

Finals: -

Participants will be given a free trial on the track and a final would be
taken.
1. On passing a hurdle you will be given 100 points.
2. For a clear indication at every checkpoint, you will be given 50
points.
3. On each hand touch 20 points will be deducted.
4. On stopping the bot at the endpoint additional 100 points will be
given.
5. Depending on the time taken by the bot to compete the track

Event Name: Line Follower Race


There will be two bots running at the same time from the starting to the ending
point. The bots must follow a white line on the black surface passing through
simple hurdles in the track.
1. Both the bots must complete the whole track and pass through
every hurdle in it, also it must stop at the endpoint.
2. There will be two same tracks on which the bots will start the race.
3. The time taken by the robot to finish the run will be recorded in
seconds.
Rules: -

1. One trial will be given to each team before the final start.
2. Depending on the registrations two teams will be selected, however,
any team can challenge another opponent.
3. Both the bots will start at the same time.
4. On each hand touch 5 seconds will be added to the final time
taken.
5. Spot registration with amounts of Rs. 50/100 per team.
6. Winning team gets an amount of Rs. 75/150 on the spot.
7. Between the two bots which will reach the endpoint first will be the
winner.

In-game Rules
1. Application Version: Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM)
2. Players are prohibited from using any kind of emulation software or
Tablet device. If any players are caught using the item stated above
will be banned from entering the tournament.
3. Spectators are prohibited to be in the lobby, except for tournament
admins.
4. If any player disconnects during a match, the game continues. The
disconnected players are required to reconnect as soon as possible.
5. In the case of a server crash, the admin will rehost the lobby and
restart the match.

Event Name: ROBO RACE


In this event the students are supposed to race against
each other. The arena will consist of different hurdles and
terrains. The student who covers the arena in minimum
time, wins the race.
Rules:
1. The bot is supposed to cross all the hurdles/ terrains provided in the
arena.
2. Points will be awarded on crossing a hurdle/arena.
3. The track will also have some bonus and negative points.
4. The bot that crosses the track in minimum time, wins the race.

Event Name: ROBO SOCCER


Robo Soccer is an event that is a mixture of Soccer and
Robotics. In prelims, the bot is supposed to carry the balls in
the arena to posts that carry certain points.
1. The obstacles in the arena carry negative points.
2. In the next rounds, bots play against each other and
the one to score the maximum number of goals in
scheduled time wins the match.

Event Name: ROBO RACE


Bot Specifications:

Dimensions – 25 x 25 x 25 cm (10% tolerance)


Weight – 2.5 kg (10% Tolerance)

In this event the bots are supposed to race against each


other. The arena will consist of different hurdles and
terrains. The bot which covers the arena in minimum time,
wins the race.

Rules: -
1. Maximum voltage allowed is 18V dc.
2. A team can have minimum 2 and maximum 4 members.
3. The bot is supposed to cross all the hurdles/ terrains provided in the
arena.
4. Points will be awarded on crossing a hurdle/arena.
5. The track will also have some bonus and negative points. • The bot
that crosses the track in minimum time, wins the race.
