    Today we’re going to talk about an amazing human


    being. He is known as the rock. Guess, who is? Yes, Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson. That’s why,
    today we’ve invited to Angela Santorsa, a famous writer.

    Welcome Angela.

    Thank you for inviting me to your show.

    We wanna know about him, please, Angela, tell us.

    Yes, I wrote Dwayne's autobiography, I interviewed him many times, and that’s why I could get
    to know better not only the soccer player or highest paid actor, but the successful person who
    totally changed his life.

    What were the beginnings of Dwayne?

    First at all, Dwayne was and is a man who attracts the glances. You ask, why do you tell me
    that? Because he is a man with a strong complexion, he has built up muscles, got many
    symbolic tattoos in his body related to his family’s culture.

    Dwayne was a college football player at the University of Miami. He aspired to have a
    professional career in football and entered the NFL Draft but went undrafted. Shortly after, he
    began training as a professional wrestler.

    How about his father, I heard that he was a wrestler?

    Yes, his father and maternal grandfather were both professional wrestlers, so Dwayne secured
    a contract with the WWE. His father trained as a professional wrestler and Dwayne followed
    his steps; he left the WWE to pursue an acting career.

    What is the currently relationship with the WWE?

    He has been participating in sporadic appearances, till 2011 as a part-time performer. That’s
    the one of the reasons, he has been training to not lose continuity in wrestling. But he already
    has retired of wrestling. Also, he headlined the most-bought professional wrestling pay-per-
    view. Curious fact: He told me that he has been missing WrestleMania.

    This is new for me; I didn’t know him for football or wrestling. Instead, I know him for all the
    successful movies. Could you tell us about that?

    He has changed his life completely, he was a football player, wrestler, and now he is a
    successful movie star. He is one of the few people who changed the turn of his career, and he
    succeeded doing it.

    Dwayne entered Hollywood and the film industry, becoming a star initially through his
    wrestling popularity and noted work ethic. Over his acting career, he became one of the
    highest paid and most successful actors in Hollywood. I bet you know him for The Scorpion
    King (yes, I watched that movie). Actually, he has been playing characters in many popular
    movies such as Journey 2, Hercules, Rampage, Skyscraper, Fast & Furious films and Jumanji
    films.

    How was his progress in the movies?

    He was self-conscious when he played his first role in the movie (The Scorpion King), He did
    not feel confident even though as I told you, he is a dedicated man in many aspects of his life.
    Actually, he’s very outgoing and talkative, that helped him to get ahead and like this make
    himself famous.

    What was the hardest for him?

    Memorizing the scripts was the hardest thing that he had to do. He hates making mistakes on
    the scenes, because he is perfectionist.
