Skill refers to a broad set of knowledge, work, habits, and character trait that are deemed necessary. A skill is
someone who are expert in doing something. A person who are capability and ability to work if it is handiness
to work on. A man that knowledgeable in making extraordinary and the client or audience can be amaze.

Direction: Based on your readings, accomplish the activities using separate bond paper for your
answers whether your modality is correspondence-based learning or online-type of delivery.

Activity 1: Discuss the concepts of 21st Century Skills Categories by answering two from the given
items and write 1-2 paragraph for each item.
1. How can the attainment of 21st century skill contribute to the realization of education?
It cannot be denied that one of the goals of 21st century education is to prepare students for success after
graduation, that is students will be equipped and armed with necessary knowledge, values, and skills as
they step out of the four walls of classroom. When students attain the 21st skill which are of greatest
demand in real setting. It is guaranteed that they will thrive in the 21s century society, as their
knowledge, skills and values are put to test, especially in their workplace. As a result, these students will
not left behind in a world that change dramatically throughout time. Learners can cope with any
challenges they may face in their lives. It should be noted that when 21st century skills are attained by all
learners. It is of great contribution to the realization of educational goals as educators are able to see if
the their approaches to the integration of 21st century curriculum, such as multidisciplinary,
interdisciplinary, intradisciplinary, and ultra-disciplinary are effective in addressing the need for an
emphasis on 21st century education, so that the school produce quality learners that are multiple
literacies.
2. How can you prepare, plan, and deliver a lesson with an end goal of attaining the 21st century
skills?
.To achieve the end goal of attaining the 21st century is to design performance tasks that are imbued with
relevant life skills, performance tasks that mirror the actual skills that are demanded in real-life
situations knowing the fact that when students step out of corners of classroom, they will encounter these
demands. It also paramount importance to use assessments tools to track student’s progress and to gauge
student learning outcomes. For instance, creating test that incorporates higher thinking skills is a way to
activate students critical thinking

Activity 2 - Solve the problem in the given situation by applying the Learning and Innovation Skills
Situation:: Mr. Lewis repeatedly had problems when leading a class discussion with his eighth graders. No
matter how involved in the topic the students were, there were usually several students sitting at the back
who would talk, shout out silly answers, and play with objects they had brought from home.

allows students to seek out information, explore subjects in -depth and gain a deeper knowledge and
understanding around them. It enables to speak and write to make a communication to others. The
ultimate goal is to instruct to build a student’s comprehension, writing skills, and overall skills in
communication.

Prepare a 2-3 paragraph essay that discusses the importance of the 21 st century skills categories in the
teaching and learning.

The pandemic example already shows how important it is to not only anticipate change but to be ready for it and
know what to do when it hits. The world is changing all of the time, and quickly at that. Technology in a career
where being up to date with technology is required. Yet technology changes constantly. Just when I think I've
mastered a program something changes about it or that program disappears entirely and I need to either adapt or
start from scratch. Ed-tech is always changing and I need to be ready and prepared for that to best serve my
students, and at this point in my career, to best serve those counting on me for relevant resources. 21st century
skills that prepare students or change; adaptability, resourcefulness, creativity, problem-solving skills, working
well under pressure, open mindedness and more.

Problem-solving is an important skill in itself, but being able to apply problem-solving skills to real-world
issues and scenarios is critical. Students need to be able to exit your classroom, get into their careers, have and
raise children, navigate relationships, recognize when they're being taken advantage of, resolve conflict in the
workplace, etc. without you there holding their hands.
They need to be able to take those problem-solving skills that they were taught within the confines of the
context of your classroom and apply them to real problems that surface in their lives, and yes, there will be
many. 
Activity 6: Compose 4-5 paragraph essay sharing your personal experience related to 21st Century Skills.
What life lessons and values have you realized and learned from the topics?
Many skills are important for the advancement of society, innovation being among them. Innovation gives rise
to economic, social, ecological, and cultural improvements because complex societal problems are creatively
solved.21st century skills are critically important in today’s world, particularly in collegiate programs and
contemporary careers and workplaces. It encompasses a wide range body of knowledge and skills that are
interconnected with applied skills, cross-curricular skills, cross-disciplinary skills, interdisciplinary skills,
transferable sills, transversal skills, noncognitive skills and soft skills.

As a student we must have hone and empower ourselves with learning and innovation skills, information,
media and technology skills, life and career skills, and social and cross=-cultural skills. 21 st century skills must
continuously practice along standards and assessments, curriculum and instruction, professional development
and learning development. Human has different behavior and perception so, teacher must be innovative and
need to be change into a better kind of teaching the learners. Especially nowadays students are more on
digital tools we cannot assure them if they are listening to you as a teacher while discussing the lesson.

I realized that teacher’s quality of teaching may have impact to learners because they are knowledgeable and
being aware on everything that surfing the internet can help them to have an idea to a specific matter. A 21 st
teacher must be well equipped and train on these skills to prepare them for the future professional career
roles. Students can give a different definition on a specific word that they have an idea or information that
they have learn from the other sources of information.

A framework for 21st-century learning, which describes the foundational literacies, competencies, and
character qualities that learners need to thrive in today’s global economy. In addition, the paper deals with
learning gaps in 21st-century education and suggests ways to narrow the learning gaps by using technology.
