    ASSEMBLY SPEECH IN SEQUENCE

    Good morning everyone! On behalf on TCIS I wish you all


    a very happy republic day.

    My dear friends, this nation, will remain the land of the


    free because it is the home of the brave!

    Now, I would like to call upon students of class 6 to 9 on


    the stage for singing a patriotic song in sanskrit.

    WAIT FOR EVENT 1 TO END

    Thank you GROUP! It was a heart touching performance.

    Republic Day is one of the three national festivals in


    India, and people celebrate these festivals with great
    enthusiam and patriotism.

    So, let us know some more interesting facts related to


    Republic Day.

    For that, I'd first like to call Anshika from Grade 4 to share
    a few words in Hindi.

    Now, I'd like to call upon Nainika, from Grade 6 to for her
    English speech on Independence.

    I'd like to call Dakshayini from Grade 7 for their Kannada


    speech on Independence.

    NOTHING, can beat the charm, the enthusiasm and the


    excitement of the people from displaying their love for
    their nation. It is the euphotic celebration among people,
    irrespective of their religion, caste and ideology.

    With that, I would like to invite the students of class 8


    and 9 on the stage to perform a group dance on "Vande
    Mataram!".

    WAIT FOR EVENT 2 TO END

    What a wonderful performance! I hope you will feel the


    spirit of unity through this song!

    The Indian Independence Movement was a series of


    historic events with the ultimate aim of ending British
    rule in India. It lasted from 1857 to 1947.

    The freedom of a country depends on it's citizens.


    Individuals who selflessly sacrifice their lives so that their
    country, and countrymen can be free are indentified as
    freedom fighters.

    Some notable freedom fighters are Mahatma Gandhi,


    Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Jhansi Ki
    Raani and Sarojini Naidu. These freedom fighers did not
    only fight for their country, but for everyone who
    suffered in silence, lost their family and freedom and
    even the rights to live themselves.

    Now, I would like to invite a few students to speak about


    the freedom fighters they are potraying.

    Thank you all, that was very informative and I'm sure
    others found it englightening too!

    We can already see the files of students are ready as they


    are looking determined with zeal and enthusiasm in their
    eyes to protect their motherland!

    Exhibiting the same spririt now, I invite students of class 1


    and 2, who are going to present a patriotic song based on
    the same theme!

    That was a beautiful performance. The children executed


    it with great synchronization!

    Shankar: A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and
    touches a heart. It is my pleasure and honor to call upon

    performance!
