Section: Maed-Educational Management
Leader a five-letter word but comes with a great responsibility. Many people can be a
manager but not a leader. Many could manage but not have ability to lead. A leader is someone
who inspires others to create another leader.Leadship is not just having the knowledge to direct
the follower but to influence them to become the best version of themselves and provide direction
to the organization. There are many function of a leader but I believe that ability to work with
people harmoniously is the top most essential. People is the heart of the organization therefore
leader must work with them with good relationship. A leader also must be a role model of
organizations serve as the strong rock and foundation of the organization allows a stress free
environment, a organization that works closely and cooperatively to achieve common goals and
objectives. He/She has a wide range of ideology and also knowledge possess professionalism . A
transformational leadership would be a good approach nowadays since it emphasizes change and
transformation. Nowadays the need for transformation is necessary since we must adapt ourselves
to new ideologies, approaches and knowledge of modern world.Unlike other approaches like
autocratic or traditional kind of leadership where one people decide only and does not allow
others to participate in the decision making. There are many theories involves in the leadership
but one that suits nowadays is the participative theory where it aknowldege the participation of
the members which is more relevant today as decision must be made cooperatively and
collaboratively. Today different methodologies and theoriest are still relevant as the case to case
varies and what type of scenario arises this matter what theory must be used.

According to the many researcher controlling is monitoring progress toward goal achievement
and taking corrective action when progress isn’t being made.Every manager must know how to
control in an organization to achieve goals. Managers should monitor and evaluate the
effectiveness of every program or activities.In educational settings a school head must always
ensures that every activities are well executed and monitored this will minimize the error in that
particular activity and also to see if follow the standard specially in education since we are looking
for the best to our students by providing quality education this will be achieved if manager has the
ability to oversee and control his/her organization.Strategic control based from the powerpoint
and notes must also a way to help the managers in controlling this way managers can determine
and tract the problem and give possible solutions to the problem.
