How does this lesson support all five domains of child development?
Brief description and The students in the class have a deep curiosity in trying food and eating together. With this
rationale for the lesson shared interest between them it is a great opportunity to teach them about where food comes
from and the benefits of eating produce in season. One interesting quote I found from the NAECY
blog post discusses this, “Discuss where various foods come from. Grocery shop together. Visit
farms, farmers markets, and orchards, if possible, to speak directly to farmers.” (Yu, 2019)
