These BANKS can be loaced with eight digitally stored bit or 12Bit natural sounds of Wavetablos using the WAVE TERM, These sounds can either be played on the WA VE 2.3122 or PRK Keyboards, or by EVU Se- quencer, Using the WAVE TERM you can load either own recorded 8 bit sounds into the EVU BANKS, of 12 bit eounds supplied by PPG, or Wavetables with Sound Programs trom the 100 available The BANKS can be loaded with completely ifferent sounds. In order to not have the trou ble of loading the same natural sound or Wa velables every time they are required the BANK arrangement can be stored on to dis ket. The WAVE 2.322 control functions can be Switched to the EVU to modulate the 8 bit or 12>it sounds stored there, These modulations can be stored without tosing the original sounds. Loading the EVU with completely dit- ferent sounds (eg: kickdrum, snare, bass, ¢ym- bal, sax, synthi, tom-tom, trumpet) allows muh ti instrumentation either played by hand on the keyboard or by the Sequencer. Each sound receives its register either on the WAVE 2.3122 Keyboard or on the PRK. Multi Sampling ‘Acoustic instruments obtain their individuality not only through thelr frequency but also through their specific sound quality, In order to make them sound realistic In various reg sters the EVU uses MULTI SAMPLING.
