Marketing Plan Presentation

Student Guide

Assignment Summary
For this assignment, you will create a multimedia presentation to show the Assignment B marketing
plan to your fellow students. After completing your presentation, you will participate in a peer group
discussion to evaluate one another’s work and give feedback.

Background Information
To complete Assignment B, you created a marketing plan for a business. Your plan should describe a
product, explain how it will meet a demand, and demonstrate how you intend to promote it to
consumers. It also should provide information on the overall market, definitions of market segments,
and a description of the specific target market. In addition, your plan should include pricing and budget
information and your financial goals for the product.
For this assignment, you will create a multimedia presentation to show your marketing plan to others.
Be sure to include charts, graphs, or other images to help convey your ideas and explain the plan.

Assignment Instructions

Step 1: Review the assignment requirements carefully.

a) Your presentation must include the following elements from the marketing plan that you
created for Assignment B:

 Market research  Other marketing goals

 Product description  Marketing message

 Competition analysis  Pricing

 Brand-image goals  Promotional strategies

 Financial goals  Budget


b) Be sure to provide enough detail from the plan in your presentation to help the audience
understand your ideas.

c) Identify 2–3 graphic elements, such as charts, graphs, or tables, to include in your
presentation to help explain the market, the product, and your plan to promote the
product.

Step 2: Consider the required elements of a multimedia presentation.

a) Use presentation or video-editing software to create your presentation on the computer.

b) Create a presentation that is clearly organized.

c) Use text appropriately and effectively.

d) Ensure that your presentation is neat, easy to follow, and visually appealing.

e) Include tables, charts, or other graphic elements.

Step 3: Think about these steps for creating a successful presentation.

a) Plan: Sketch or outline your presentation before you begin. Establish the order in which
you will present your information and the media you are going to include.

b) Draft: Create a rough draft of your presentation.

c) Revise: Review your work, correct mistakes, and make improvements.

Step 4: Use this checklist to evaluate your presentation. When you can answer yes to all of the
questions, you are ready to submit your presentation.

Step 5: Revise and submit your presentation.

a) If you were unable to answer yes to all of the questions on the checklist, revise and save
your presentation before submitting it.

b) When you have completed your presentation, return to the Virtual Classroom and use the
“Add Files” option to locate and submit your assignment. Ask your teacher for assistance
if necessary. Congratulations! You have created a presentation that effectively
communicates your research.

c) Ask your teacher for further instructions about the time and location to present your work
to an audience of your peers.

Step 6: Give your presentation.

a) Work to engage your audience as you give your presentation.

b) Speak in a clear voice that is easy to hear and understand.
