EDİTOR’S NOTE
This is a free Reiki manual that has been around for many years. It was recently requested,
and in reviewing it, we thought it might be helpful to edit it to make it a little easier to read.
The original manual was written by a Reiki Master who is not a native English speaker. The
manual was hard to follow in its original form. But with some punctuation adjustments, and a
few very minor tweaks to the language, it should be much easier to read now. The text in this
revised manual is almost exactly the same, as most of the changes involved adding more
paragraph breaks and improving the punctuation.
There is one important change of note. The original manual called the Angel of Death
just “Death” but for clarity the full title is spelled out here.
We also wanted to respond to a potential question you might have in using

this system:
Can I balance out energies by using opposite elements, such as using

fire to balance water and using earth to balance air and vice versa?
The answer is yes.
In the original manual, the Reiki Master speaks about being careful to not overcorrect an
imbalance by going too far in the opposite direction, such as trying to quench too much fire
with too much water. The approach in this system is to gradually balance rather than go
overboard with opposites. However, it is OK to use water to balance fire and vice versa...just
don’t go overboard with the opposite extreme, and you’ll be fine.

STORY
One day I was with my friend on the beach. She stayed under the sun for 3 hours, and at the
end of the day she had a high temperature. She didn’t want to go to the hospital, and I was
panicked because of her behaviors.
Then I started healing her with Reiki. I used all Reiki systems l knew at the same time, and I
called all spiritual guides and angels. On healing, Archangel Michael came, and suddenly I
heard a voice. It says, “Caution, fire element is unbalanced, please balance it.”
This voice sounds like a kind of alarm, and it didn’t stop until I balanced, healed her, and
lowered her temperature.
When I heard the voice, I saw the Yin Yang symbol. It was brown and had some figures and
patterns on it. I saw water element up, fire element down around the symbol. Fire element
was unbalanced: its distance to Yin Yang was more than water element.
Fire and water elements have to be at the same distance to Yin Yang for balance. So I
asked, “How can I balance fire element?” The guide said, “You have to give her fire element,
something warm.” It didn’t make sense. She had a high temperature, and the guide said give
her something warm.
Then I asked the guide, “Isn’t it better to put her in cold water?” He said, “If you put her in
cold water, you are going to unbalance water element, so when both elements are
unbalanced, they become balanced. So when we put someone with a high temperature in
cold water, we unbalance water element for lowering the temperature.”
But the guide said, “It is very dangerous to balance someone by unbalancing another
element.” So he said, “Don’t do it.” After that, I found a way, and I just healed her with Reiki.
HEALİNG WİTH 4 ELEMENTS

After this experience, I started to use the elements and Yin Yang that I saw in the vision as a
symbol to balance 4 elements of people. I draw Yin Yang and elements to my palms. Then I
ask the symbols to balance my 4 elements.
Just draw symbols and say, balance my organs, balance my spiritual power, balance me,
balance my mind, balance my relationships... etc. You can also say heal. But when I say
heal, Reiki starts to heal, but when I say balance something different happens.
SYMBOLS
In the middle there is Yin Yang.

Down: fire element. Up: water element. Left: air element. Right: earth element.
You can use these 5 as a symbol.
HOW TO USE SYMBOLS

You can draw or visualize the symbols on the palms and tell them to balance what you want,
like balance me, balance my emotions, balance my relationships. You can balance anything
you want by using 4 elements and Yin Yang.
You can say balance, heal, protect... etc. All works differently. You can also use only
elements, only one element, or only Yin Yang. You can say to fire element, water element,
air element, earth element, and Yin Yang to heal you. The energy is very soft like Reiki; it is
a little bit hard to feel the energy. It is better to focus on symbols. But Archangel Michael is
very strong and easy to feel.
ARCHANGEL MİCHAEL
I was under an evil cult attack before. My professional spiritual life started with this situation.
One day, I moved to a new house and created a room for spiritual works. Then I used all
spiritual workings at the same time to defeat this evil cult.
At the end, Archangel Michael and the Angel of Death came down with a huge power, and
they defeated the cult. I felt their energy more than a person. Their spiritual power is more
than a person or a group. After that moment, Archangel Michael and the Angel of Death
stayed with me. In emergency situations, they come and help me. They are very strong and
high spirits. They are talking like humans; they say they know more than humans. The Angel
of Death said he started the Renaissance, and he said he was with Shakespeare. He said
Shakespeare was talking with a skull, and the skull was him. Shakespeare was talking with
him on that for years, he said.
The Angel of Death said when some important changes in art happens, he does it, and the
artists who use skulls or skull symbols have a connection with the Angel of Death. They
create new things in art; they improve the art. The Angel of Death said he is responsible for
creativity. So I believe that Fergie has a connection with him, and she is going to change
something, as she is using skulls.
And Archangel Michael doesn’t talk too much. He helps me in healing and emergency
situations. His symbol is a straight white line, but his energy is not Reiki, so his energy may
be too strong for you. It is better to feel his energy by symbol, before using it. (I didn’t include
the Angel of Death symbol here; I am going to create a manual for death at a later time.)

HOW TO RECEIVE THE BALANCE YİN YANG ATTUNEMENT
Draw symbols on your palms or imagine them. Then ask me (Ömer Volkan Akkuş), or my
picture (below) for the attunement. You can write the name of each element under the point
symbol on attunement.
