2. Safety Caution
▬ Pre-operation Caution
Read this manual carefully and understand all of the information provided in
the manual before operating hydraulic Crusher.
CAUTION
Do not put finger(s) or any part of mankind into pin hole in installation, and
only visual inspection is recommended.
-3-
▲ Caution in use of hydraulic Crusher
1. Use hydraulic Crusher for its intended and/or designed purpose only.
2. Install safety measures such as wire-mesh protection in the window of
operator’s seat in excavator to protect operator from the splinter/injury
while operating.
3. Allocate safety zone in the operation site, wider than excavator’s operation
range, and stop operation immediately, if once mankind or any object is
entered in the safety zone.
4. Ensure that only recommended (by excavator manufacturer or Crusher
manufacturer) proper type and grade hydraulic oil is/are used, and check if
viscosity of the hydraulic oil is appropriate.
5. Do not operate hydraulic Crusher, if temperature of hydraulic oil is over
80℃(176℉) or below -20℃(-4℉).
CAUTION
Do not put head or any part of mankind into jow of hydraulic Crusher, if
hydraulic Crusher is unfolded.
CAUTION
When the hydraulic Crusher is transported and/or handled, the transporting
machinery shall be equipped with enough power and/or appropriate ropes.
-4-
▲ Caution in hydraulic Crusher un-installation.
CAUTION
Be careful with the burn in attempt to maintenance and/or un-installation of
the Crusher after operation since the Crusher, including hydraulic oil, pipe and
body is hot.

7. Installation
▲ Hydraulic Crusher attachment (to excavator)
CAUTION
Be aware of the burn in maintenance, detachment and similar circumstances
after operation of the Crusher that hydraulic oil, piping and body are hot.
2) Tune bracket pin hole to excavator arm pin hole by moving excavator arm slowly.
While taking this procedure, keep the engine speed (rpm) at ‘CONSTANT’ and
manipulate slowly.
CAUTION
Do not put finger(s) or any part of mankind into pin hole in installation, and
only visual inspection is recommended.
-13-
3) Insert bracket pin in the arm with hammer, then fix the pin hole by manipulating
excavator bucket cylinder and then insert the other bracket-pin.
WARNING
5) Connect reciprocity hose after removing plug and cap in the hydraulic hose and
piping.
CAUTION
8. Caution in Pre-operation
The hydraulic Crusher is designed for demolition and/or crush of concrete structure,
industrial structure, house, pier or the like by installing onto excavator.
The hydraulic Crusher is powered by hydraulic oil pressure from excavator and operated by
an operator with switch control.
WARNING
CAUTION
Observe Excavator manufacturer’s safety instruction(s) and Hydraulic Crusher
manufacturer’s safety instruction while operating an excavator, installed with
hydraulic Crusher.
CAUTION
CAUTION
▲ Function Check
CAUTION
For hydraulic rotary type, check if its rotation is appropriate by taking 360° rotation
in clockwise and anticlockwise with controlling switch in the excavator cabin.
-16-
WARNING
Do not attempt to conduct inadequate operation or service, which may cause
an injury.
The service shall be performed by authorized personnel only.
1)
The excavator shall be on solid or
secured ground while in operation of the
hydraulic Crusher to avoid collapse or
falling down of excavator.
2)
Make sure that the base is solid enough
to support load of excavator while in
operation on the roof or structure to
avoid accident.
-17-
3)
Do not attempt to operate Crusher in
transverse/horizontal direction.
The excavator may collapse.
4)
Do not attempt to rotation of the
excavator while in crushing.
Hydraulic Crusher may get severe
damage.
5)
The crushing shall be taken from the top
to the base while in crushing structures
such as chimney, brick construction.
If necessary, big sized concrete/object
shall be removed properly, to avoid a
crash into excavator.
-18-
6)
Do not employee the Crusher as a lever.
It may cause fatal damage to the
Crusher, and extremely dangerous if big
concrete falls to excavator.
7)
Do not move and/or pull excavator while
the Crusher is holding crushing object.
It may cause fatal damage to the
Crusher.
8)
Do not attempt rotation of the Crush
while in crushing.
Do not attempt to shake the Crusher
while in holding crushing object.
These may cause fatal damage in boom
of excavator and/or the Crusher.
-19-
9)
Do not move excavator by using the
Crusher as support.
The load of excavator to the Crusher
may cause fatal damage to the Crusher.
10)
Do not attempt lifting operation with the
Crusher.
This may cause crash or damage to the
Crusher.
11)
Do not attempt hammering or hitting
object with the Crusher.
It may cause fatal damage to the
Crusher.
-20-
12)
Do not sweep crushed objects with the
Crusher.
13)
Do not operate the Crusher with
excavator’s cylinder of boom and arm in
end-ward of stroke.
14)
Take caution that the Crusher shall not
keep in touch with excavator’s boom
when folding excavator’s arm for
movement. Also, crushed objects may
damage to the cabin as well as personnel
injury.
-21-
Specially, the oil consumption in the cylinder of Crusher is high at initial operation
of the Crusher after its installation, and need to check the oil volume after 2~3
operations and refill it if the oil is not enough.
Check viscosity of the oil, since the oil temperature would be higher in the Crusher
operation than normal excavator operation.
For hydraulic devices in high temperature, high speed and high pressure.
For industrial machineries in special anti-abrasion.
For hydraulic machineries such as folk lift, excavator, loader.
For bearing, gear box in engineering machinery or industrial machinery
Shall be adequate for air and gas compressor in Screw Type and Vane Type.
-22-
