Project Responsibilities:
This project is aimed to create & implement a process to ingest data into snowflake database with Files
coming from vendors, by replacing the as-is process which loads data into Netezza database. Based on the
existing application design, this project consists of two phases.
Phase 1: - Ingestion of Vendor Files into Snowflake data layer (DL-0)
Phase 2: - Redesigning the existing application by utilising Snowflake streams and tasks.
● Analyse the existing application and prepare the source file format that needs to be created in
snowflake.
● Involved in understanding the scope of application, present schema, data model and defining
relationship within and between groups of data.
● Involved in loading Servicing, Transactional data into Data Mart. This required various complex
data transformations, with the involvement of a number of tables.
