Jellyfish are not really fish. they are invertebrate animals. this means that unlike
fish or people, they have no backbones.in fact, they have no bones at all.
Jellyfish have stomach and mouths, but no heads. they have nervous systems
for sensing the world around them, but no brains. they are made almost entirely of
water, which is why you can look through them.
Some jellyfish can glow in darkness by making their own light. The light is made
by a chemical reaction inside the jellyfish . Scientists believe jellyfish glow for several
reasons. for example, they may glow to scare away predator or to attract animals
they like to eat.
Most jellyfish live in salt water, apart from a few types that live in fresh water.

Gold is a precious metal. Gold is used as ornaments or as money. Gold is found in
many places, but in a small supply. It is often found on the surface of the earth. Since
gold is a heavy substance, it is sometimes found loose on bottom of rivers. The gold
is found together with sand and rocks, and must be separated from them. It is simple
to search for this type of gold. It is not usually necessary to drill for gold, but when a
layer of gold is located deep below the surface of the earth, it is possible to drill a
hole into the ground. Engineers have developed modern process for removing gold
from rocks. Since gold is not very hard, it is sometimes melted and added to other
substances for making rings, coins, and art objects. It will be priced forever because
it is beautiful, rare, and useful.

Tornado
The word tornado comes from Spanish language and means to twist or (1). A
tornado is a whirlwind produced by atmospheric conditions, mainly extremely
low pressure, during a severe thunderstorm.(2)
A tornado may also be referred to as a funnel cloud(5), but this is technically not
a correct term. While the two words are sometimes used interchangeably, a funnel
cloud is different, not in its make up, but in the fact that it does not touch the
ground(6). Another name that is often used to describe a tornado is twister(5),
due to its violent twisting motion(7).
The tornado is one of the most unpredictable and destructive forces of nature, often
destroying everything in its path. A tornado is usually preceded by severe storms,
which may include lightning, high winds, and frequent hail(8). It can change
course without notice, and is usually accompanied by a roaring sound, or as
some describe it, the sound of freight train(9).

Task 1
Now, you will read another interesting text. This text talks about apprenticeship. Do you
want to know more about it?
APPRENTICESHIP
Apprenticeship is a good activity for students who want to get work experience
before they graduate from school(1). They will get the chance to work in a company although
they have not graduated yet. The company will place them in the division which is related to their
educational background. For example, in a supermarket, students with a Hotel and Tourism
background are placed in the Fresh Section. They deal with the bakery and salad bar(2). In a
bank, students from accounting programs are placed in the administration department. They are
assigned to execute stock inventory, file and arrange in-coming and out-going letters(3).
Indeed, the students will not be placed in the high position, but it still gives many advantages to
them.
What do the students actually gain in being an apprentice? Of course, they will earn
money, but the valuable experience is the most important thing(4). In an apprenticeship
program, they will improve their competency and learn to interact with people whom they meet
in the working environment. By having more knowledge and network with accompany, they
will get a clearer future after graduating from school(5).
To be an apprentice, the students have to get an accompanying letter from the headmaster
at school. This letter will inform the company that they are students who are willing to have a
temporary job there. The company’s personnel department will inform about the requirements.
Some company may give a test, but the others may not.
Being an apprentice is very beneficial. It gives not only money, but also invaluable experience.
So, never be hesitant to take a chance for apprenticeship.
