Work Period 1 *Small Group Activities (Commonly focusing on Language Arts)
*Conducting Teacher’s Supervised and Independent Activities
Recess *Emphasis on good table manners, washing hands, praying before and
after eating
*Teacher can eat along the pupils.
Quiet Time * Pupils may sit peacefully listening to music
* Can be “nap time”
*Teacher’s Preparation for the story telling
Story Time *Pre-reading
-Giving of rules or instruction while reading of story
-Introducing the story, Picture reading
*Reading of the story related to the content message of the day
*Post-Reading
-Questions about story heared
Note: we can ask questions in the middle of reading the story.
Meeting Time 2 *Presentation of Activities
*Modelling/Demonstrating the activity for Work Period 2
Work Period 2 *Small Group Activities (Commonly focusing on Numeracy)
*Conducting Teacher’s Supervised Activities and Independent
Activities
Indoor/Outdoor Activities *Activities inside the classroom such as Dancing, Bingo and etc.

under their desk/table/chairs.
