Students are not allowed to enter the exam cell. Only authorized staff can work in the exam cell and silence must be maintained. The exam cell handles all exam related work for the university including submitting student details, question papers, answer sheets, and entering marks. Internal exams are conducted according to the academic schedule and rules include submitting question papers 3 days before, collecting answer sheets immediately after, and entering marks after approval. During university exams, only approved materials can be used and any assistance or cheating will result in punishment ranging from fines to being barred from continuing studies.

Authorized staff alone is allowed to work in the exam cell Silence should be maintained inside the exam cell Communication by the faculty members to University Zonal office should be done through the exam cell Malpractice of students should be immediately brought to the knowledge of Chief Superintendent for further action Every semester, the students and staff particulars are to be submitted /updated in the University portal within the prescribed time Registration of electives should be submitted in the university portal after the approval of HoD and Principal in the stipulated time Student must have 75% attendance for appearing the university exam Students’ issues and grievances should be addressed to the exam cell through the department co-ordinator The computers, printers and other accessories available in the exam cell should be used exclusively for exam related works Alteration of invigilation duty is not permitted. In case of any emergency, alteration should be done after the approval of the Chief Superintendent Data books/code books are to be issued to the students for the examinations only from the exam cell EXAM CELL - RULES AND REGULATIONS
INTERNAL EXAMINATIONS
Internal exams are conducted as per the University academic schedule
Internal Examinations will be conducted in common for all departments in a centralized manner Question papers for Internal tests and model examination are to be submitted based on bloom’s taxonomy by the subject handling faculty before 3 days of the examination after the approval of HoD For internal tests/Model exam, invigilators should be present in the exam cell before 15 minutes of the tests/exam schedule for collecting question papers and answer scripts Written answer scripts collected from the students should be submitted to exam cell immediately after the completion of tests/exam Subject handling faculty should collect the respective answer sheets from the exam cell for evaluation after the completion of internal exams After the assessment of written answer scripts of internal test/model exam, the mark list should be submitted to the exam cell coordinator after the approval of HoD and Principal Entry of assessment marks and attendance in University web portal should be done only in the exam cell EXAM CELL - RULES AND REGULATIONS
ANNA UNIVERSITY EXAMINATIONS
A candidate is permitted to use geometric tools, non-programmable calculators
and approved tables and data books only during the theory and practical examinations. No other material / gadget (including cell phone) should be brought inside the examination hall. A candidate should neither possess nor refer any forbidden material in any form nor should seek/ obtain assistance in any form from any person/source towards answering the questions during the examinations. He / She should not assist other candidates in any form towards answering the questions during the examination. The candidate should not reveal his/her identity in any form in the answer scripts. The candidate should not indulge in canvassing either directly or indirectly to award more than deserving marks in the examinations. Candidate should maintain discipline and decorum during the examinations. Violation of the above rulesin any form during the examinations will attract punishment ranging from levying fine to permanently debarring the candidate from continuing his/her studies as given below: The students indulged in malpractice: a) Has to appear in front of disciplinary committee along with parents and then only they will be allowed for regular academic activities. b) Will not be considered for weightage throughout their course period - till the final semester. c) Will not be considered for placements. d) Will not be given letter of recommendations for higher studies.
