Restriction Under light exposure Irganox L 57 and lubricants formulated with Irganox L 57 may
turn darker upon prolonged storage. This has no effect on performance.

The Daimler Benz DBL 6612/6615 test data show that Irganox L 57 at
0.5 % in an engine oil has no negative influence on tensile strength and
change in strain before failure of the seal material.
