Narrative:
Schools really should elevate health and safety, and in particular first aid. Having a thorough and well thought out first
aid strategy will not only make schools safer, but will also benefit their community.
First aid is an important life skill that helps reduce fatalities and enables the faster treatment of injuries. It also have an
important role to play in providing staff and pupils with a sense of purpose and achievement, giving them skills that will
potentially save lives.
Cupang Elementary School Annex with 21 Teaching, 5 non-teaching staff and 3 SPTA and also 74 students from
Cupang Elementary School Annex from Grades 3-6 joined the Basic life Support training. The program starts at 12:45-1:00
PM registration and followed by preliminaries Prayer, Nationalistic song and Muntinlupa march to be Led by Ma’am
Reynalyn Caspillo, Welcome Remarks statement of purpose in behalf of Ma’am Marie Ann Esmeria the principal , Mrs.
Elizabeth Tiston is the one who take in charge to deliver the Message of our dearest principal.
The BLSFA Training is conducted by Mr. Kristoffer De Leon and Ms. Jovelyn Dagale they are the trainers of DDRM
the training lasted for 1 and a half our . The teaching and non-teaching personnel also the other Participants was actively
engaged during the discussion and learned a lot about Basic Life Support and First aid.
The training is aimed to provide knowledge on basic life support and first aids and its importance to both the school
and community. It is recommended that further training in first aid is given to teaching and non-teaching personnel and also to
the students to address impending injuries during such disasters. Emergency kits and disaster plans are so important so it should
be visited and monitored.
The activity ended with a photo opportunity and distribution of certificates to DDRM Trainers.
