ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2020-2021


I. INTRODUCTION
The DepEd’s Vision, Mission and Goal is anchored with the new normal set up because of the
pandemic. Calantas Elementary School’s main goal is to be a school of commitment and excellence even in
times like this. Giving quality education amid COVID-19 is the main priority of our school.
This report covers the school accomplishments for the month of March.
II. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT

A. Pupil Development
 Modules and activity sheets were continuously distributed by sitio to encourage pupils in learning
even at home.
 Reading and numerical assessment was also done to measures pupil’s comprehension and
mathematical skills. This was done with the cooperation of the Brgy. Chairman and parents of the
pupils from different Sitios in Calantas Rosario Batangas. Health Protocols were observed during the
said activity.

B. Staff Development
Five-day In-Service Training was done to refresh teachers personal and professional growth. The
INSET focused on the modular distance learning that we are practicing up to present. The speakers were:
Ma’am Hilda C. Garbin, Ma’am Roxan F. Dalisay, Ma’am Melody M. Magnaye and Ma’am Angeli D.
Untalan. The safety of the faculty members were assured by following health protocols by the IATF.

Demonstration teaching was done to assisst teachers more on the professional development and
refreshing each and everyone in to the face to face teaching-learning style inside the classroom. After each
demonstration, post conference was done to give advise and reccomendation for the future demontration.

On the other hand, Ma’am Melanie R. Bathan and Ma’am Apple Jean V. Conti attended the Virtual
Inservice Training for Public School Teachers. For that, they received a national certificate which will be of
great use in the future promotion.

C. Curriculum Development

Department of Education is always working on the development of our curriculum.

D. Physical Facilities Development

In line with the Covid-19 protocols, we make sure that before entering the school premises, the
parents must follow these: 1st, Temperature check, 2nd washing hands with soap, 3rd spraying alcohol
throughout the body and use the foot bath. You cannot enter the school as well without wearing properly
your facemask and face shield.

E. Community Extension

Parents and other stakeholders in cooperation with the faculty members go hand in hand in the
improvement of school ground and facilities. Every week has the assigned grade level to clean the area
assigned to them. With this, the school maintain its cleanliness and orderliness.

F. Special Programs and Projects


The teachers together with the school head uses the social media to promote health awareness during
the pandemic. DRRM took place in social media. The school DRRM coordinator, Ma’am Melanie
Bathan uploaded pictures about earthquake drill and other safety activities.

III. FUTURE PLANS


 Plans and targets should be made so that these will serve as basis for the activities to be performed.
 Continuing DepEd Programs and Projects and acquisition of new buildings/classrooms in
replacement for the old buildings with demolition permits.
 Additional washing facilities to observe health protocols during this pandemic time.
 To upgrade the learning capability of pupils even face to face classes was suspended by religiously
monitoring and reminding them to read and browse whatever learning materials they have at home
and to watch educational shows provided by DepEd.
 Motivate teachers to attend webinars to be fully competent.
 Acquire best internet connection.
