They were the centerpieces of the World Trade Center. They were called so because there were two of them and they looked nearly the same. Immediately after the tragic attacks, people came from all over the world to help. Some volunteers came to help the injured. Some came to help clean up the site. Others brought food and cards for the workers. Many volunteers worked around the clock to clear the rubble and the debris, and eight months later, the last of the steel was removed.

When we dont have someone in our lives anymore, we can still remember them. Sometimes, people make artwork or look at photographs or tell stories to help remember a person or a favorite thing. As long as you remember someone or something, you still have a part of them

Around 17,000 people were in the buildings when they were hit by the planes. Most of them left safely. As they rushed out, firemen, police officers, and other volunteers rushed in to help those still trapped. We call these heroes first responders. The buildings were very damaged, though, and before the first responders could help everyone, they collapsed. There was rubble

It was a group of seven buildings in lower Manhattan, a busy and crowded part of New York City. Many people worked and visited there. There was also a hotel and an underground mall where people shopped and stayed during visits.

Fifteen of them were from Saudi Arabia. Two were from the United Arab Emirates, one was from Lebanon, and one was from Egypt.

The terrorists did not have capacity to destroy the United States militarily, so they set their sights on symbolic buildings instead. The men tried to crash a fourth plane into another building, but the passengers fought back and the plane crashed into an empty field in Pennsylvania. The name was given to the devastated site of the collapsed World Trade Center towers in New York after September 11 2001 It is an international Islamist terrorist network founded in the late 1980s by Osama bin Laden, who was killed in a U.S. military operation on May 1, 2011, and others who were involved in the war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. An island which is the oldest and the most populated of the five boroughs of New York City.

It is located on Ground Zero and was opened on the 10th anniversary of the attacks and a Museum will open one year later. The Memorial park surrounds two enormous reflecting pools set within the footprints of the North and South Towers. This is where the towers used to stand. The water cascades into reflecting pools, finally disappearing into the center voids. The names of people who were killed in the 9/11 attacks in New York, at the Pentagon, and on Flight 93, as On September 11, 2001, many individuals, on Flight 93, at the Pentagon and in the World Trade Center, acted selflessly and put the safety and security of others ahead of their own. This spirit of service continued beyond that day and into the aftermath of 9/11, inspiring people from around the world to come together and perform extraordinary acts of service.
