Chapter 2:
1. D. Demonstration
A demonstration is the process of teaching someone how to make or do something in a
step-by-step process. As you show how, you “tell” what you are doing”.
2. C. Lecture Method
In the field of education, lecture method is used very frequently. This method is used in
order to acquire knowledge and concept. Lecture method mainly focuses on cognitive
objectives. The main emphasis of this strategy is the presentation of the content. In this
method teachers plans and controls the whole teaching – learning process. To make
the lecture interesting, the teacher can take the help of audio -visual aids.
3. A. To identify the characters in the story.
Knowledge, the bottom level, is the ability to show memory of topics that have been
studied in the past, by recalling facts; using related terminology; knowing patterns and
trends; and having an awareness of different attitudes and theories on the subject.
4. B. It must be suited to the lesson objective.
Instructional materials should support the educational philosophy, goals and objectives
of the District and the objectives of the curricular offering in which the materials will be
used.
5. C. Students should never see a teacher using a lesson plan.
A lesson plan serves as a guide that a teacher uses every day to determine what the
students will learn, how the lesson will be taught as well as how learning will be
evaluated. Lesson plans enable teachers to function more effectively in the classroom
by giving a detailed outline that they adhere to during each class.
6. A. Each level is built upon and assumes acquisition of skills from the previous
level.
This compilation divides the three domains into subdivisions, starting from the simplest
behaviour to the most complex. The divisions outlined are not absolutes and there are
other systems or hierarchies that have been devised in the educational and training
world. However, Bloom's taxonomy is easily understood and is probably the most widely
applied one in use today.
The categories were designed to range from simple to complex and from concrete to
abstract. Further, it was assumed that the taxonomy represented a cumulative
hierarchy, so that mastery of each simpler category was prerequisite to mastery of the
next, more complex one.
7. D. Generalization
It is important because it increases the likelihood that the learner will be successful at
completing a task independently and not have to rely on the assistance of a certain
teacher or materials only found in one teaching setting.
Generalization is the phase of learning where behavior occurs under different conditions
other than those taught (people, settings, etc.). To help students maintain skills being
taught and to encourage use of the skills in a variety of situations, generalization
strategies are included in the lesson plan.
8. A. It helps them develop a sound value system.
A person's standards and self-discipline set, based on the common sense and wisdom of
knowing what the proper moral rules and discipline are, and the amount of willingness to
see themselves and others abide by them.
Refers to the order and priority an individual or society grants to ethical and
ideological values.
9. D. There are varied procedures and activities undertaken by the pupils.
It is also important to realize that the best planned lesson is worthless if interesting
delivery procedures, along with good classroom management techniques, are not in
evidence.  There is a large body of research available pertaining to lesson development
and delivery and the significance of classroom management.  They are skills that must
be researched, structured to your individual style, implemented in a teacher/learning
situation, and constantly evaluated and revamped when necessary.  Consistency is of
the utmost importance in the implementation of a classroom management plan.

10. Help the learners define what it is to be solved.

In order to solve problems, help students understand the problem. In order to solve
problems, students need to define the end goal. This step is crucial to successful
learning of problem-solving skills. If you succeed at helping students answer the
questions “what?” and “why?”, finding the answer to “how?” will be easier.

Chapter 3:
1. D. Communication effectiveness
Presentation skills – To communicate effectively in the workplace, you need to be able
to present your information clearly. Presentation skills doesn't just mean knowing how to
put a good set of powerpoint slides together, it means engaging and connecting with an
audience to get your message across.
2. B. Learning activities

3. C. Model digital-age work and learning

the 1970s with the introduction of the personal computer with subsequent technology
introduced providing the ability to transfer information freely and quickly.
4. C. He promotes and models digital citizenship and responsibility
Responsible digital citizenship means taking part in online community life safely,
ethically and respectfully. Good digital citizens behave respectfully, protect their
reputations and privacy, watch their tone, and are skeptical.
5. A. The limited exposure of teachers to new equipment.
Some teachers have expressed their fear of not being able to control what kids do on
their screens. They also think that if technology is introduced in their lessons, then kids
wouldn't be so interested in the lesson and the content itself
6. C. Read directly from the slides.
The biggest reason you shouldn't be reading your slides is that if you are, you're not
looking at your audience. People won't connect with whatever story you are telling if
they don't connect with you. When you stand on stage and look at the slides, they
create a barrier between you and your audience.
7. B. On-line
Online means that a computer, device, or a person is connected to a network, and
usually this means the Internet. While off-line means the computer, device, or person is
not connected to a network, cannot be reached, and cannot communicate with any
other computer or device.
8. D. Electric bulletin board and email
Electronic bulletin boards (also known as message boards or as computer forums) are
online communication systems where one can share, request, or discuss information on
just about any subject. While Email is the oldest collaboration tool and the most
common method for communication in online learning. Private messages can be sent
between the instructor and the student. It is reliable, inexpensive, and the most well-
known. Email is often overlooked as a collaboration mechanism in favor of flashier,
more expensive, and less reliable mechanisms.
9. C. Skills
Demonstrate, pronounce, perform “Skill targets are those where a demonstration or a
physical skill-based performance is at the heart of the learning. Most skill targets are
found in subjects such as physical education, visual and performing arts, and foreign
languages.
