    1. The worlds most expensive coffee in the world comes from Bali. It is called Kopi Luwak and is not
    the typical coffee bean. They collect the beans from the digestion of civet cat which is a very shy
    cat like creature in Asia. It only eats the ripest and finest coffee cherries but does not digest the
    bean.
    2. Bali has not only white sand beaches but also black sand beaches.
    3. A fabous Lovina Beach is covered from black sand from the cool lave of the Nt Agung Volcano.
    4. 80 % of the Bali economy is related to tourism.
    5. The Balinese year start in silence. The first day of the new calendar is called Nyepi and nobody is
    allowed on the streets and noise and light are to be minimal for everyone. One year in Bali has
    210 days. The official canendar of Bali divides the year into six months with each month having
    35 days
    6. There are very many dialects spoken throughout Indonesia. Most Bali residents speak Balinese
    speak Indonesian, Balinese and English mostly due to touris
    7. Balinese babies are carried everywhere for the first three month as they are not allowed to
    touch the ground. They are considered little angels and their connection to the spirits is kept in
    tact by not touching the earth. When the time has come that they are allowed to touch the
    earth a big ceremony is had and another big ceremony is had when they reach puberty. The
    ceremony symbolizes the coming of age, transition from animal to human, the control of six
    humans evils ( greed, desire, anger, confusion, jealousy, and being under the influence of the
    strong). There are twi main religions in Bai
    Hinduism (84%) and Muslim (13%),
    Christian (3%)

    and Balinese culture. These are included in every ritual in Bali. They signify the devotion of the
    locals to the gods. Bali is the most famous island in Indonesia. Its spectacular moutains scenery,
    has tropical beaches and very friendly Balinese people make it a popular tourist destinations in
    the world There are famous surf spots, dive sites and sacred temples and much more to
    discover.
