Communication is the imparting or exchanging of information or news. People use

technology to communicate today. Technology is used everywhere in schools, jobs, and homes

plus more. The use of technology has become a need for most people today. However,

communication and the use of technology influence many people’s lives. Technology can affect

the way people think and feel. It has a huge negative impact on globalization today.

In this research paper, I will be discussing the way technology has affected globalization. The

three things that I feel are important in the effect that technology has on globalization are

schools, work, and homes. Many people communicate through technology, and it has affected

globalization. In my research paper, I have six different sources that cover the effects technology

has on employees at work, kids at school, and families at home. The six sources show different

ways that technology is affecting globalization. Although technology can have a positive impact

on globalization, this research paper is focused on the effects it has.

Yildirim and Ansal talk about how technology is affecting the way people work and their

home life. Technology is making it hard to separate. This article indicates how technology has

made it hard to work. For employees work has increased, their availability has changed to

working more, and their invasion of private life. The way the employees work plays a huge role

in their private lives. People can’t fully spend time with families and relax because technology

has made it possible for them to still do a job while at home. In this essay, it is awful to see how

technology is causing many work employees to have less time to focus on their life because work

is always around no matter where they are. In my opinion, this article shows others how
technology is affecting people at work and their outside lives. I think it is very important to show

the negative impact that technology has on employees that work jobs in America.

Ates and Haydar indicate that technology is overused in some primary schools. This article

shows how studies all over the world use technology for assignments and research in class.

Although it may help in some ways it has been shown to cause a variety of problems. One

problem that was seen in the article is that students use technology for other things that don’t

pertain to school such as playing games and getting on social media. Another huge problem that

was seen is that technology is all around taking away students’ learning time. Technology is seen

as a distraction in primary school. In this article, it is great to see how teachers use technology to

help students learn. This article would be great for me to use for my research paper because it

shows how teachers attempted to use technology for better learning, but kids look at it as free

time.

Danet shows how parents have a few concerns about their kids’ use of technology. Many

parents have approved of the technology use at home but have noticed it is a problem. Some

concerns of the parents are that they believe technology can harm their kids’ reasoning skills,

kids may not know when to stop, and kids may not want to do any family activities. All these

concerns have parents questioning whether technology is good or bad. In this article, it is sad to

see how technology is taking over the new generation of kids making them not want to do real-

life things. I agree with Danet because he shows the negative way that technology affects kids. I

think that technology does affect kids and I also think that technology should be limited to

younger kids in America. Newer kids are influenced by technology because they are accustomed

to it.
 Laudicina explores the way technology affects the brain. Social media and phones can affect

the way we do things if used improperly. Technology can be used to do more than just being on

the media. It can provide us with many educational things to do. However, many people use

technology for the wrong things that can be very effective to the brain. Memory loss and vision

loss are huge effects on the brain that technology can cause. This article shows how technology

can cause damage to the brain if it is used way too much. In my opinion, I agree with technology

affects the brain. Many people don’t talk about it but using technology too much can cause health

problems. Technology can make us forget, lose hearing, and also give us bad sight.

Ibatova shows how technology influences the development of preschool children with speech

disorders. It is shown that preschool children are starting to talk less due to technology. A lot of

preschool kids with speech disorders don’t have great word formation. The kids should be saying

more words at the age norm. However, it is seen that parents are trying to increase the language

from baby talk so preschool and older kids can understand what they are asking. This article

shows how kids with disorders also have trouble using technology just as much as their

is parents do. I agree with this source because technology is causing a huge effect on kids’

speech. If a kid is using technology a lot and isn’t using their words, then it can be hard for

others to understand what the kid is saying. It is best for preschool kids to learn how to talk

clearly other than like a baby.

Lu shows how mental health has a strong influence on the teaching of business administration.

Technology is used very poorly, which influences the mental health teaching effect of business

administration. Video clips and audio clips are captured to try and elevate the teaching effect on

business administration. Mental health is a great source to avoid human intervention and improve

the prediction effect. This article is a great way to show how mental health can help the teaching
of technology teaching on business administration. I think that this article is a great way to

explain how technology can affect a person’s mental health when teaching. Teaching isn’t easy

and technology can give teachers a harder time if the learners don’t understand what being

taught.
