ABSTRACT

The increasing number of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)

has significantly impacted the lives of their families,

particularly their children. This quantitative research

study aimed to explore the coping mechanisms employed by

students with OFW parents. The study investigated the

various coping strategies utilized by these students and

their research study provides valuable insights into the

coping mechanisms employed by students with OFW parents. The

findings highlight the importance of implementing

appropriate interventions and support systems to enhance the

well-being and academic performance of these students.

Educational institutions, policymakers, and families can

utilize these findings to develop targeted programs that

foster resilience, promote healthy coping mechanisms, and

provide the necessary support to students with OFW parents.
