what can be said.

2. Giddha

Giddha is a very energetic, vigorous Punjabi folk dance, which involves bright,
colourful, energetic dance which is usually performed to rhythmic clapping and
boliyaan.

Boliyaan are verses enacted by giddha dancers, harmony is the essence in giddha so
rhythm of this dance is set by distinctive hand claps of the dancers.
 Giddha’s form has freedom, expression, dramatic voice, facial and body dialoguing. It
is a kinaesthetic and muscular activity with elements of clapping and voicing
emotions. Thus, it is an act of body, mind and emotions.

Giddha generally envolves one of the women to starts to sing a boli, continued by the
group singing and dancing.

Mimicry and sarcasm are two of the most important component of a giddha, they can
either shed light on taboos of society or simply just make fun of each other by lightly
poking fun at each other.

The expressiveness of this dance can translate into many gestures of different length
satirizing politics or expressing guileless deep love. Allowing the women of small knit
family structures, villages to raise and express their inter feelings in a fun loving
manner.

Te hun ashi pesh karan jaa rahe haan Punjab da lok nach giddha giddha giddha.

3. Session end
Plz give a huge round of applause as they have set the stage on fire with this divine
performance. With this we have come to end of our freshers festivities. And we will
break for lunch.

Once again we would like thank our esteemed chief guests, and dignitaries for gracing
us with your presence. We truly apprecitate your support in making this event even
more graceful and special.

Good afternoon to all dignitaries, and distinguished guests with great joy and immense
rejoicing. I feel privileged to extend a warm welcome back for the festivities of rubaroo
2023.

Today marks a bittersweet moment as we celebrate the incredible journey and

achievements of the graduating class 2023.

Throughout their time here, our seniors have left an everlasting mark on our college,
enriching our campus with their talents, dedication, and unwavering spirit. They have
not only excelled academically but have also actively participated in extracurricular
activities, sports, cultural events, and community service, leaving a lasting impact on the
entire college community.
 As we reflect on the memories created together, we remember the late-night study
sessions, the laughter echoing through the hallways, the spirited debates, and the bonds
forged in both triumph and adversity. These years have been transformative for our
seniors, shaping them into the confident, resilient individuals they are today.

Tonight, we come together not only to bid farewell but also to express our heartfelt

Originating from the rich cultural tapestry of the Indian subcontinent, Qawwali is a form
of devotional music that has captivated hearts for centuries. Rooted in Sufi traditions,
Qawwali serves as a spiritual medium, where the poetry of renowned mystics is
transformed into melodious compositions that touch the depths of the human soul.

Tonight, we have gathered a group of exceptionally talented musicians who will

perform qawalli. With their profound understanding of the genre's intricacies and their
remarkable vocal prowess, they will take us on a mesmerizing journey of love,
devotion, and divine ecstasy.
 Prepare to be enraptured by the ethereal blend of the harmonium, tabla, dholak, and the
soul-stirring voices that will resonate through this auditorium. The power and depth of
these musical expressions will transcend the boundaries of language and culture, uniting
us all in a shared experience of profound emotion and spiritual connection.

In this upcoming performance, you will witness the magic of improvisation as the
Qawwals engage in a musical conversation, known as "sama." Through their heartfelt

Pradeep= Jab aapne college shuru kiya tha toh aapke bhi bohot armaan honge ki hum
classes bunk karenge, lectures lagane ke bajay hum doston ke saat khane pine,moj masti
kareinge.
Mehnoor = Humne kya socha tha aur kya paya, hum attendance ke piche hi bhaj te reh
gaye aur 4 saal kab nikal gaye,pata hi nahi chala.
Pradeep =Kya kya khawab dekhe the humne ki hum night outs, weekend getaways pe
jayeinge lekin sari raatein assignments, presentation, practical files banein mein hi nikal
gayi.
Mehnoor =Par aap mano yaan naah mano teachers ko lecture ke bich mein tang
karna ,attendance short hone ke bavajood bhi classes bunk karne mein alag hi maja hai.
Pradeep= pata hi nahi chal hum kab zindagi ki race mein hum itne aage nikal gaye
hain,par kuch khati mithi yaadon ka anubhav aapne saath le gaye hain.
Mehnoor = Zindagi ka sab se khubsoraat sa safr basa bhi yaadon mein simat ke reh
gaya ga. Kuch khatti, kuch methi aur kuch unkahi baatein sab ke dil mein hain.
Pradeep =Iske baad toh sabhi sirf facebook instgram pe sirf friend banker eh gaye hain,

When we think of punjab the one of first things that comes to our minds is bhangra.
Bhangra is a fusion between harmonious notes of Dhol, Algozey, Chimta, dhad, and celebratory folk dance.

Bhangra is an amalgamation of various folk dances from all across the region of Punjab which includes Sammi,
Jhummar, Luddi, Giddha, Dhamaal, Sialkot, and many more.

Due to the rapid globalization bhangra has spread across the world, just as fast the Punjabi diaspora has emerged
globally. And is being mixed with hip hop, house and regree style of music.
