ACTIVITY DESIGN Name of the Activity: DIOCESAN ANIMATOR’S TRAINING 2023 Date: JUNE 24-25, 2023 Proposed Venue: San Lorenzo National High School Mawab, Davao de Oro Participants: 3-5 participants Registration Fee: 300.00 each
I- RATIONALE:
“Since the youth constitute a large and dynamic portion of the laity, the youth ministry should be assured of the fullest attention and highest priority in every way by all in the Church.” (PCP II, No. 2)
The conduct of Diocesan Animators Training is a preparation for the
upcoming Diocesan Youth Convention this year. After almost 2 years of in-person restrictions due to the wrath brought about by the global pandemic, this year’s training will be a major comeback with a huge number of young people from various parishes.
In like manner, this celebration responds to what the church continuously
celebrates nowadays, the spirit of Synod of Synodality. The coming and meeting of young people from different parishes in our diocese promote and herald communion, participation, and mission.

II- TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
1. To reawaken the talents of every individual particularly in dancing;
2. To review the animation of the past National & International Youth Convention 3. To journey together as a synodal church.
III- METHODOLOGY:
1. During DYCC Meetings, planning, dissemination of information, and
deliberation are being done; 2. DYCC Council Meeting is set to finalize everything; 3. Animators Ministry shall be the in-charge of formulating the activity design and other necessary preparation; 4. The San Roque parish of Mawab is assigned to help out and assist the Animators in formulating and executing the necessary preparation for the said training; 5. As agreed during the meeting, all participants should bring their own eating utensils and beddings; 6. A registration fee of 300.00 will be collected from each.
