72nd Graduation and Recognition Rites

Introduction:

Bah: Graduation and Recognition Day is the culmination of all hard work and a year of study. It is the day
when the students can say “I’ve done it”. Today ladies and gentlemen mark another milestone in our life and
in the history of our school, as we gather and celebrate success on this 72nd Graduation and Recognition
Rites for school year 2022-2023, with the Theme: “K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient
Educational Foundation”
Jha: A radiant afternoon to all. Today we mark an exceptional day in our calendar as we celebrate the
tireless journey of our students. It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you all. This is a much-awaited
event in every student’s lives, as it gives the returns to the efforts put in by the students throughout their
academic endeavor. Today is indeed a day that is full of joy, the day about pride and accomplishments.

Processional

Bah: At this point everyone is requested to stand. Let us all welcome, the Candidates for Graduation, the
Academic Achievers, with their parents, Honored Guests, the stakeholders in education –SPTA officials,
Barangay and Municipal Officials, the pillars of this institution the Head of School and the teaching staff of
Bascaran Elementary School. Ladies and gentlemen, the processional!

Tableau & Doxology

Jha: As we commence this significant occasion, let’s honor the strength of our nation and pay reverence to
our beloved country and divine grace as we unite in the singing of the Philippine National Anthem via
Tableau, followed by a heartfelt Doxology. Please rise…

Bah: Thank you. Please take your seats.

Welcome Address:

Bah: To usher in this grand ceremony, may I call on Niña Kharla C. Marcaida, Grade 6- Jupiter, to deliver
her welcome address.

Presentation of Candidates for Graduation:

Jha: Thank you Niña Kharla

Jha: Now, we arrive at the highlight of our ceremony. May we call on Ma’am Ma. Marissa P. Dones, our
Head of School for the presentation of candidates for graduation.

Acceptence & Confirmation of Candidates:

Bah: This is to be followed by the acceptance by our SDO Representative, Mr. Ricky L. Marco Principal I
of Gapo Elementary School, and the confirmation and attestation, that is on behalf of the Schools Division
Superintendent, Ma’am Nene Rosal- Merioles CESO V, will do the honor.

Bah: Sir Ricky L. Marco will now read a message from our Schools Division Superintendent Nene Rosal-
Merioles CESO V to the graduates of SY 2022-2023.

Introduction of the Guest Speaker

Jha: Thank you very much Sir Ricky Marco and to our head of school Ma’am Mariz.
Jha: Success is not final. All we need is courage to continue; and the inspiration to move forward. Now, let
us welcome Mrs. Ma. Liza R. Delos Reyes, a Grade 3 teacher to introduce our today’s Keynote speaker.

After the message:

Bah: Thank you for your words of inspiration, Ma’am. Despite limitations, some of our graduates
have proven that excellence is never impossible with hard work and determination.

Jha: This time around, we would like to take this opportunity to present this certificate of appreciation and
token to our guest of honor and SDO Representative. May we invite once again Sir Ricky L. Marco with
our Key Note Speaker JO1 Charisse M. Acosta to receive the certificate and token of appreciation. And
Ma’am Mariz P. Dones to hand over the certificate, to be assisted by Municipal Councilor Julius L. Duran.

Bah: Thank you very much to our honored guests.

Graduation Song “I Can”:

Jha: In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will embody inferred emotions.
With a round of applause, let us welcome the graduates for their graduation song “I CAN”.

Jha: Once again a round of applause to our graduates for their heartwarming song.

Awarding of Medals, Ribbons and Certificates to Grades 1-3 Honor Pupils:

Bah: We are also gathered to pay recognitions to the ones who have done very well and have been
perseverant in their studies. We will now move forward to the distribution of awards and certificates to the
Grades 1,2 and 3 honor pupils.
May we invite Barangay Captain Domingo L. Madrideo to hand over the certificates, to be assisted by
Barangay Kagawads ______________________________________________.

After the awarding for Grades 1-3

Bah: Congratulations to all academic achievers!

Intermission Number “Itik-Itik”:


Jha: Itik-itik is a mimetic folk dance in the Philippines that mimics the movement of ducks. It originated in
Cantilian, Surigao del Sur. Itik-itik was discovered in this town by National Artist for Dance Francisca
Reyes-Aquino. Ladies and gentlemen a round of applause for the selected Grade 5 pupils for an
intermission number “ITIK-ITIK”.

Awarding of Medals, Ribbons and Certificates to Grades 4-5 Honor Pupils:

Bah: Once again let us have the distribution of awards and certificates, this time to the Grades 4 and 5 honor
pupils.
May we invite Barangay Kagawad __________________________(Committee on education) to hand over
the certificates, to be assisted by SPTA President Avelino L. Non Jr.

Advisers will again call out the names. See program for the list.
Bah: Congratulations to all Grade 4 and Grade 5 academic achievers!

Intermission Number “Polka sa Nayon”:

Jha: This ballroom polka was popular in the province of Batangas in the Spanish time. It was usually
danced during town fiestas and in big social affairs. The dance has an average difficulty, with different
variations of the polka step being used all throughout, with a lively tune to go by it. Ladies and gentlemen,
let us welcome the selected Grade 3 pupils for an Intermission Number “POLKA SA NAYON”. A round of
applause please.

Bah: Moving forward with the Awarding of Medals, Ribbons and Certificates to Grade 6 Honor Pupils.
May we invite our head of school Ma’am Mariz P. Dones to hand over the certificates, to be assisted by
Municipal Councilor Julius L. Duran.

Bah: Congratulations to our Honor Graduates!

Capping and Distribution of Diploma:

Jha: Today marks another milestone in our graduates’ academic journey. Our accomplished students will
now receive their well-deserved Diplomas.

Jha: May we request the parents of the graduates to assist their children for the capping.

Jha: May we invite once again our head of school Ma’am Mariz P. Dones and by Municipal Councilor
Julius L. Duran to hand over the certificates, to be assisted by Barangay Captain Domingo L. Madrideo and
SPTA President Avelino L. Non-Jr.

INSERT (INSPIRATIONAL AWARD) ALLMAGE


Jha: An Inspirational Award will be given to selected graduates. This award is given to struggling learners,
despite of the difficulties and challenges during their 6th grade journey, be it intellectually, financially or
inevitable circumstances. This award symbolizes their perseverance. This is especially given by our Adapt a
School partner, the ALLMAGE Family, a nongovernment organization who has been with us since 2018.
Conducting outreach programs in different schools for the less fortunate.
May I call up the stage Caleb Hendrik A. Gonzales, ALLMAGE Family representative to hand over the

After the awarding:

Bah: We would like to present this Certificate of Appreciation to Caleb Hendrik A. Gonzales of ALLMAGE

Jha: Thank you so much for your time and effort in giving this award. Please extend our sincere thanks to
the rest of the family.

Words of Gratitude:

Bah: At this juncture ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Grade 6 Graduates, let us hear words of
gratitude from Chrisha Gayle M Mediavillo Grade 6- Uranus with honors. Let’s give her a round of
applause.

Bah: Thank you so much for sharing your stories behind this remarkable success.

Pledge of Loyalty:

Jha: Next is the pledge of loyalty, to be led by Chrisha Gayle M. Mediavillo, SPG President SY 2022-2023.

Turn Over Ceremony of Newly Elected SELG Officers:

Bah: We shall now have the turnover of the key of responsibility to the newly elected SELG President for
School year 2023-2024. Chrisha Gayle M. Mediavillo outgoing SPG President to hand over the Key of
responsibility to the Newly elected SELG President Ceajae L. Duran.

Tribute Song “KUMPAS”:

Jha: And now ladies and gentlemen, let us all gather together as we are about to witness our dear graduates
who pay homage to their parents for all the sacrifices and love shown to them. Let’s give them a round of
applause for their tribute song, “KUMPAS”.

Closing Remarks:

Bah: To formally close the program, let us all lend our ears to the closing message from our very own
school head, Ma’am Ma. Marissa P. Dones. A big hand, please.

Recessional:

Bah and Jha: To all the graduates, the honor graduates, and parents, congratulations. This day calls
for celebration. Thank you for gracing this momentous occasion with us.

ANNOUNCEMENT / ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Jha: Before we officially conclude this event, we would like to convey our sincerest felicitations to all those
who in every way have made this occasion a success. To our esteemed guests, thank you for gracing this
momentous occasion. Your presence is in itself an inspiration. To the members of the faculty, we are truly
grateful for the gift of learnings and meaningful life experiences you have shared with our graduates and
Honor pupils.

Bah: To our beloved parents, thank you for being our constant partners in educating our students, your
children. Your trust and confidence have been a powerful thrust to give the quality education our youngsters
deserve. In gratitude, let us give our DEAR PARENTS a resounding, warm round of applause.

Jha: To our dear graduates, we salute you for you have survived the challenges. We hope that your
education coupled with commitment, passion, and hard work will propel you to greater heights of success.
Once again, congratulations on your graduation and good luck on your future endeavors.
