Place the uncut chord bars in the chord bar holders on the autoharp and mark the lowest and highest string using a red pen or pencil. Use these red landmarks to correctly
position the uncut bar on the template (Lowest string is #1). Use the ‘X’ marks on the template to pre-mark the felt for cutting, using a black pen or pencil. ALWAYS VERIFY
marks by placing the chord bar back into the chord bar slots where it will reside. Adjust marks as needed to line up with the strings before cutting.
