    BUTORPHANOL CRI

    Preparation: Add 2.5ml (25mg) Butorphanol to 47.5ml 0.9% NaCl to make a CRI concentration of
    0.5mg/ml
    Indications: Antitussive, Sedation, Reversal of pure mu opiod agonists (Methadone/Fentanyl).

    Precautions: Do not use with other opiods. Only provides mild analgesic effects. Reduce dose in
    MDR1 affected dogs (Collies, Australian Shepherds)
    Dose: 0.1-0.2mg/kg/hr in Dogs + Cats. Can give loading dose of 0.1-0.2mg/kg IV if required.
