What is the link between Salesforce / Tableau CRM / Tableau?
➢ Salesforce acquired Tableau in 2019 for close to $16Bn.

➢ Later, the decision was made to brand SF Analytics offerings under Tableau brand name

➢ Salesforce's Analytics offerings is branded under a single name - Tableau

➢ Tableau product offerings. There are 5 Products :


1. Tableau Prep (Data Prep)
2. Tableau Desktop (Visualization)
3. Tableau Server (On-Prem)
4. Tableau Online (Public Cloud)
5. Tableau CRM (BI + AI + Predictive)

➢ The #5 is the BI/ AI Layer on Tableau.


➢ Formerly known as Einstein Analytics this is adding the intelligence to Tableau.
➢ Also known as TCRM, it is 100% Salesforce native and allows customers to uncover insights
from Salesforce data with Pre-built Sales/Service KPIs.
➢ Analytics Builder helps creating AI predictive apps with prebuilt templates.
➢ There is a TCRM Plus (+) version that allows creating custom predictive models using Einstein
Discovery.
