    Please note, this policy was not designed to cover known or publicly announced events.
    There is also no cover under any of our policies if you travel to a country or specific area
    where the UK or the destinations government or local authority advise against ‘all’ or
    ‘all but essential’ travel. It is important to also remember that if the Foreign,
    Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advise against ‘all but essential’ travel
    in Europe, solely in relation to COVID-19, then your policy will remain valid, if you have
    taken out the Optional Enhanced COVID-19 cover. If the FCDO advice is for anything else
    in any other region outside of Europe then the policy will not be valid for your trip.

    Change in health
    If there is a change in your health before your travel, such as new or increased medication,
    any referral for tests or a specialist appointment, or a new diagnosis/course of treatment,
    you must tell us or any claim you make whether it is related or not, may only be paid in part
    or declined altogether.

    Change your policy


    If you have any queries about your cover, you can contact our customer helpline by using the

    that you purchased the policy from. If you are travelling within the next 14 days, please call
    us on Number 0800 781 4086. For all other queries please email
    insurance.queries@holidayextras.com and tell us your policy number.

    Cooling off period


    Please tell us immediately if your policy does not meet your requirements. If you cancel
    within 14 days of the receipt of your documentation and you have not started a trip or made
    or intend to make a claim, we will give you a full refund. Following this 14 day period, you
    continue to have the right to cancel your policy at any time by contacting us.
    If the notice of cancellation is received outside of the 14 day cooling-off period no premium
    will be refunded, however discretion may be exercised in exceptional circumstances such as
    bereavement or a change to your policy resulting in us declining to cover your medical
    conditions.
    We may cancel your policy by giving you 14 days’ notice in writing. If this happens we will
    refund the premium you have paid for the rest of the policy period.
    Once your policy has been cancelled your cover will end and you will not be able to make a
    claim.

    If you would like to speak to someone or write to us please contact our Claims Service (open
    Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30), as soon as possible, quoting your Policy number and tell us
    what has happened.
